CDN NATIONAL PAPERS
The National Post is published by CanWest Global Communications, and is the leading
national newspaper in Canada. Some considered it to be the first newspaper in the country, which
truly reflects the perspectives and opinions of the population from coast to coast. In addition, the
National Post has brilliantly incorporated the Financial Post as the premium business section in this
innovation publication. This said the National Post would be valuable addition to your microfilm
collection and a useful resource for national news.

THE POLISH CANADIAN COURIER (Kurier Polsko-Kanadyjski) was the first private independent Polish newspaper in Canada.
Published as a bilingual paper from 1972 to 1986 as The Polish Canadian Courier, it continues today under new ownership as The

settlers and their descendants as well as an overall look at Kaszubian culture. In addition this bilingual (English/Polish) publication
enjoyed a strong cultural focus on literature, cinema and theatre.

for his help in promoting the interests of people from a variety of ethnic groups. The President of the American Slavic Institute of
