In our July article, we talked about the Town of Wolcott
being a HEART Safe Community and the fact that we have
AEDs strategically placed throughout the community. Do
you know how to operate an AED? If not, would you like
to learn more about them? Today’s Automated External
Defibrillators are very easy to use, and most have audible
prompts to guide you through each step!

When you take a CPR course, you will be taught how to
use an AED. We strongly encourage everyone in our
community take a CPR class with AED training and main-
