I Feel Good!

In the beginning of term two, the students
learned to recognize and recite letters and
sounds of the alphabet. Students also
demonstrated curiosity and had loads of fun
experimenting with the sounds, letters and
words. In particular, while learning the letter
and sound of “g”. The students participated
in a craft in which they decorated and played
paper guitars. The students had loads of fun
creating and exploring musicality in the
classroom while playing their guitars to the
tune of “I feel good”!

“Four Seasons”

One of the themes for K3 is “4 Seasons”. Students
in K3 this week have learned about the 4 Seasons and
about things to do during each season .(Spring, Summer,
Fall, Winter) .We made a craft representing each season
where students were asked to colour each season with
the correct colours. Students practiced their English
speaking skills watching the “4 seasons for kids”
educational video and also repeating the words by
visualizing the pictures as well. This allowed the
students to review the 4 different seasons that
people experience around the world and to engage
their creativity about what happens in these 4 seasons
and what we can do as well during these seasons.
The students had lots of fun watching the video and
completing the craft.

“Fruit Salad”

นักเร�ยนชั�นป.1/1 เร�ยนรูŒ คำศัพทและประเภทของผลไมŒ ผ‹านกิจกรรม
“ตระกรŒาผลไมŒของฉัน” โดยนำจานกระดาษมาตัดคร�งเพื่อทำเปšนตระกรŒา
และระบายสีรูปผลไมŒ นำไปวางตกแต‹งลงตระกรŒาของตนเอง กิจกรรมนี้
นอกจากความสนุกสนานแลŒว ยังช‹วยใหŒนักเร�ยนจดจำคำศัพทไดŒง‹าย
และสามารถนำไปเปšนบทสนทนากับเพื่อนในหŒอง ภายใตŒหัวขŒอ ผลไมŒ
ที่ฉันชอบและไม‹ชอบ
In P1/1, students learned about fruits
and fruit vocabulary. We did a fruit basket
activity where students cut out fruits that
they learned in the lesson, colored the fruits,
and then placed them into a basket made
from two halves of a paper plate. Students
had fun creating and arranging their fruits
in the fruit baskets. This activity allowed
students to have fun, recognize fruits, and
be able to talk about what fruits they like
and what fruits they don’t like.

Galileo’s Gravity

This term in P3 science, we are learning
about all different kinds of forces. P3/4 and
P3/5 have been learning that the force they
must deal with most every day is gravity.
We got to replicate a famous experiment
done by Galileo Galilei all the way back in
the 1500s! Students got to see gravity in
motion by seeing how things with different
weights can fall at exactly the same speed.
They also had to practice the scientific
method while doing their experiments, just
like a real scientist would!

Estimation of Products

วิชา Mathematics นักเร�ยนชั�นป. 5 เร�ยนรูŒเร�อง
ทฤษฎีการคูณ การหารและการประมาณค‹าผลลัพธ
ของการคูณ นักเร�ยนสามารถนำทักษะ ไปใชŒในชีวิต
ประจำวัน และสามารถนำไปต‹อยอดในบทเร�ยนที่มี
ระดับความยากมากขึ้นไดŒดŒวย นักเร�ยนสามารถนำ
ความรŒูไปประยกุ ตใชŒในกจิ กรรมรว‹ มกบั เพอ่ื นในชน�ั เรย� น
ในหัวขŒอ การประมาณค‹าผลลัพธของการคูณ ไดŒอย‹าง
สนุกสนาน

This term the Mathematics students
focus on different kinds of strategies to
multiply, divide and estimating products.
The students can use these skills in their
everyday lives as well as the students get
the opportunity to learn and practice
advanced Mathematical English Terms.
In this specific class the students are
having fun by applying the skills that they
learned this week about Estimating
Products.

Expansion and
Contraction of Fluids

In P6 Science this term, the students
learned about the properties of fluids
(liquids and gases). They learned that
fluids can flow, take the shape of their
containers, and can expand and contract.
To better understand expansion and
contraction of fluids we carried out 2
simple experiments. In the first one, we
looked at the expansion and contraction
of liquids using thermometers. The students
first measured the room temperature in
the Science lab, and their body temperature.
Then they put the thermometers in hot
and cold water beakers, and measured
the temperatures. They observed that the
liquid in the thermometer rises in the hot
water beaker (expansion), and falls down
in the cold water beaker (contraction).

In the second experiment, the students put a balloon on to a bottles’
top, and then put the bottle first in a hot water beaker and then in a
cold water beaker, and repeated the action. The students could observe
that the balloon swelled when the bottle was in the hot water beaker
(expansion), and then shrank with the bottle in the cold water beaker
(contraction).

(Properties of Fluids) ซึ�งเกี่ยวกับของเหลวและกาซ และเพื่อใหŒนักเร�ยน
เขŒาใจทฤษฎีนี้มากขึ้น จึงใหŒทำกิจกรรมการทดลองดังนี้ คือ การทดลอง
ครั�งที่ 1 เพื่อสังเกตการเคลื่อนที่ของของเหลวในแท‹งเทอรโมมิเตอร นักเร�ยน
สรุปการทดลองไดŒว‹าของเหลวในแท‹งเทอรโมมิเตอรจะพุ‹งสูงขึ้นเมื่อใส‹ใน
บีกเกอรน�ำรŒอน และของเหลวในแท‹งเทอรโมมิเตอรจะลดลงเมื่อใส‹ในบีกเกอร
น�ำเย็น และการทดลองครั�งที่ 2 เพื่อสังเกตการเคลื่อนที่ของกาซในลูกโป†ง
โดยการใส‹ลูกโป†งที่ปากขวดน�ำ จากนั�นนำขวดน�ำจุ‹มลงในบีกเกอรน�ำรŒอนและ
น�ำเย็น นักเร�ยนสรุปการทดลองไดŒว‹า ลูกโป†งจะพองขึ้นเมื่อนำขวดน�ำจุ‹มลงใน
บีกเกอรน�ำรŒอน และลูกโป†งจะยุบลงเมื่อนำขวดน�ำจุ‹มลงในบีกเกอรน�ำเย็น
