  Whew! The PTO has had a very busy October! We started the month
with our 1st annual JGS Fall Festival Celebration which turned out to be a
  huge success! We would like to extend a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to
our wonderful Iron Chef competitors, parents, grandparents, room
2015‐2016 PTO Calendar  mothers, committee leaders (Lillian Paxton, Dana Tarver, Missy
McKenzie, Amy Taylor) and an army of volunteers for making our first
December 18 Class Christmas parties annual fall festival one to remember! This event would not have been a
success without the hard work and dedication of all involved!
(11:00am - 12:00pm) Mornings with Moms (7:00am) Grandparents’ Day Celebration was also big success! Thanks to our
JGS Mardi Gras at ACME Glass awesome chairs, Sadye Richert, Lori Spence, Kasey Witherington
January 27 and Kym Marsala, JGS grandparents enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon with
January 30 their grandchildren touring the campus, having cake and punch, and visiting
the classrooms and book fair. Thanks to Mrs. Lori DiGiulian and her
March 30 Donuts with Dads (7:00am) crew for a great musical presentation for the grandparents, as well as JGS
April 19 - May 4 Travel Raffle Ticket Sales grandparent, Thurman Dickey, and his staff for the wonderful
refreshments.
