A selfless, caring mentsh
whose relentless, magnanimous
drive to give tzedaka inspired all.
He loved to daven, to be a chazan,

to beautify the synagogue.
Until the end of his life

he strove to daven with a minyan.
He enjoyed learning Torah,

he constantly listened to Torah tapes.
The honor and respect he gave
to his parents was unparalleled.
With profound appreciation
for all that he did for
the Kollel and Klal Yisroel.

422

In Memoriam

Mr. Norman Kram

Norman was the pulse of the community! Relentlessly pursuing his
almost unquenchable desire to create a Jewish community, he dedicated

his time, talents and resources to many institutions. Simultaneously,
many individuals were the recipients of his love, warmth, caring and
sensitivity; he embraced them as brothers and sisters. As the child of a
Holocaust survivor, he believed his mission was to selflessly embrace

Klal Yisroel’s future as his obligation.
He was blessed with unusual intelligence, ingenuity, talents and skill.

They were all tirelessly activated to benefit his beloved Klal Yisroel.
He dreamed and he succeeded. He demonstrated that with

perseverance coupled with integrity and “bitachon,” dreams become
reality. He created a paradigm that we all must emulate.

His beloved Kollel would not exist today if not for his supreme
dedication to Limud HaTorah and his vision of how it would elevate the

“neshama” of the Greater Boston community.
Though Norman has departed to a more wonderful existence, we, the
community, who are the recipients of his magnanimity and love, are an
eternal monument to an unusual person who was the embodiment of a

423

In loving memory of

Aaron Jacobs z”l

to striving for the truth,

His extraordinary devotion
to his fellow human being,
His unique dedication to '‫עבודת ה‬
His unusual diligence in Torah learning,
were beacons of light to countless people.

Mr. Mordechai Davis ‫ע”ה‬

A paradigm of chesed and humility,
his love for all knew no boundaries.
Klal Yisroel’s needs present and future were uppermost on his mind

and in his heart,
the focus of his life and his emotions and thoughts.

His sincerity, dedication and compassion
gained him the respect of all.

By always giving the credit to others
he was able to greatly accomplish.
His love for his family was extraordinary
in its scope; every success of theirs
was appreciated and applauded.
His ever-lasting legacy is one of an unassuming self-effacing great
person, who changed the lives of so many and impacted the history of

Klal Yisroel.
