I expected to be more educationally accomplished, and I’ve
always had the nagging thought, “You’re falling behind.” But,
looking back on this year, I’m giving myself a pat on the back,
because I’ve done the best I could juggling my two degrees, a
full-time job and a personal life. I’ve learned that how I pace
myself is my business, and if I’m happy with it, then that’s all
that matters.

By 20, I thought I’d have found my soulmate and would be
planning my wedding by 25. But, life never turns out the way
you thought it would, and that’s okay. For instance, who thought
my boyfriend would be a dude from Tinder with cheesy one-
liners? Not me.”
