Aaliyah Danielly

Aaliyah “AJ” Danielly is originally from
Macon, Georgia—but claims Illinois as her
second home. She graduated with a
Bachelors of Science from Valdosta State
and is close to earning her MBA in Spring of
2020. Aaliyah has a passion for technology,
the arts, and volunteering. She is excited
about teaching students how to explore
social, emotional learning—through STEM
and skill-building activities.
Ajah Lewis
FULL TIME SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING COACH, PANOLA WAY ELEMENTARY
Ajah Lewis is originally from Miami, Florida
but spent a majority of her time in a small
town called Sikeston in Missouri. Ajah
graduated from Georgia State University in
2017 with a degree in Psychology. She will
be returning to Panola Way Elementary as a
second-year AmeriCorps member at Hands
On Atlanta.
ALEXANDRIA BRYANT
PART TIME SITE BASED COORDINATOR, BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF METRO ATLANTA
Alexandria Bryant is originally from Acworth,
GA. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in
Sociology from Oglethorpe University in May,
2019. She has worked as both a program
instructor and teen coordinator at the Boys
and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta. Alexandria
will be continuing her education at Georgia
State University this fall, pursuing a Master
of Arts in Communication with a
concentration in Film and Digital Imaging.

Alexis Prothro is passionate about
community service and reaching out to
young people through both her work as an
AmeriCorps member and by playing an
active role in her community. She has
completed over 2,400 hours of service and
dedicates most of her time to helping and

used to describe Anthony Allen, a man
passionate about life, community, and the
service to others. From working with adults
with disabilities to coaching and mentoring
elementary-aged children, Anthony
demonstrates an ability to connect with
people.A true believer in the—it takes a
village deal—Anthony is driven by a larger
sense of purpose and has always been a
champion for the success of children in need.

ARIA BRUCE

Aria Bruce is a very enthusiastic person who
is a lover of English and the arts. She has
participated in several theatrical
performances throughout her life and con-
tinues to do so as it is her passion. Aria has
had a primary occupation in childcare and
tutoring ever since her middle school years.
She believes that self-expression is the most
important thing that children can learn.

corporate business field, Asia Kuykendall
brings with her over 8 years of experience
from the corporate accounting and finance
industries. Her educational background
includes a bachelor’s in accounting from
The University of Texas at San Antonio
and a Masters in Finance from Texas
A&M-Commerce. With her passion for
education, teaming up with Hands On
Atlanta was an easy decision.

Aujanea Davis is from Fresno, California.
She graduated from the University Of South
Carolina-Beaufort with a major in Sociology
and minors in Communications and
Psychology. Aujanea has worked with
children from underprivileged communities
in a variety of settings, ranging from camps,
and daycares, to school settings. In
Aujanea’s free time, she loves to travel, take
pictures, and play volleyball.
BIANCA JOHNSON

Bianca Johnson is from Miami, FL, and
moved to Atlanta to achieve her educational
goals. She is a graduate of Mercer University
and holds a Master’s degree in Clinical
Mental Health Counseling. Bianca worked
in the mental health field for the last seven
years, and she enjoys working with at-risk
youth.
CHELSIE MOORE

Chelsie Moore was born and raised in
McDonough, GA. After college, she
wanted to pursue her passion for helping
others and learning new cultures; which lead
her to move to the mountains of Perú for
two years as a Peace Corps volunteer. Now
Chelsie is excited to serve the communities
a little closer to home. In her free time, when
she is not leading an art program at a local
foster home, you can find her hanging out
with friends or cuddled up with a book.

Chrissonia McCall, was born and raised in
Atlanta, GA. She has served and worked

of working for a non-profit, Chrissonia has

Cordell Howard was born and raised in
Atlanta, GA and is a product of Atlanta
Public Schools. After graduating from Henry
W Grady High School, he went to serve
honorably in the United States Marine Corps
for seven years. He attended Clayton State
University where he majored in Psychology
and human services. He believes that once
young people see hope for a better future,
they are more likely to be open to new
things, leaving room for vast opportunities.

Deondra Henderson has been a Georgia
resident for the past 8 years, but is originally
from Miami, Florida. During summer 2018,
Deondra graduated with a legal studies
degree and a paralegal certification from
Clayton State University; where she was
president of her sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho.
Over the past year, Deondra has been
working in different public defender offices
around the country helping to bring services,
resources, and awareness to social and
public issues.

Eleme Ofogba was born in England. After
moving to the States, Eleme received her
Bachelor’s degree in Communications from
Rutgers University and an MBA from the
Keller Graduate School of Management.
Eleme has over ten years of experience as
an Associate Director in higher education,
gaining experience in program strategy,
branding, student engagement, and
leadership. As a seasoned professional, she
is passionate about advancing educational
inequities, personal development, and
mentorship.

Faith Williams is a youth development
professional from Omaha, NE, with a
Bachelor’s in Psychology from Eureka
College. During her undergraduate studies,
she played soccer and was the president of
the Multicultural Student Union. Since
graduating, she has worked for the Boys &
Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, organized
volunteers for a local political campaign, and
volunteered with the refugee resettlement
agency, World Relief.

Hanleigh James, is a recent graduate of the

Hanna Tomaszek is from northern New
Jersey, and just recently relocated to Atlanta.
During college, she served as the Vice
President of Philanthropy for her sorority and
was a member of the volunteer fire
department in her home town. She also

where she helped with fundraising, event
planning, and social media outreach. Hanna

Herminio Nunez graduated from
UNC-Chapel Hill in May of this year. Before
moving to Atlanta, he worked with
Blackspace, a digital maker space for young
artists in Durham and Chapel Hill, NC. At
UNC, Herminio was a Bonner Service
Leader and Buckley Public Service Scholar.
Herminio will soon begin his first year at
Emory Law and intends to become an
activist for the equality of POC, women, and
individuals of marginalized genders and
sexualities.
jemarlo brown

Jemarlo Brown was born in the small town of
Florence, AL, and he was raised in
Huntsville AL. After finishing high school, he went
on to Jackson State University,
pursuing a degree in Music Education. In the
second semester of his Freshmen year, he was
diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. He was able
to persevere through 11 months of chemotherapy,
three months of radiation, and four blood transfu-
sions. He also loves being able to empow
er young people to be the best version of them-
selves and is a returning second year Hands On
Atlanta AmeriCorps member. In his life, he has
achieved multiple accomplishments, which he
owes all to God.
Jonathan phelps
Part TIME tutor, harper archer elementary school
Though a native to Baltimore, Maryland, Jon
Phelps has spent most of his life moving
between Fort Benning and Atlanta. He is a
recent graduate of Kennesaw State
University’s English program, where he
worked as a tutor for high school and
undergraduate students in the Gwinnett an
d Cobb county school areas. Jon has a
special interest in developed literacy and
language skills, which was the focus of his

Naema Daino was born in Ethiopia and
raised in Atlanta, GA. She is a Youth
Mentoring Site Program Assistant at Friends
of Refugees and a Medical Scribe at Emory
Decatur Hospital. Graduating with advanced
honors from Georgia State University with
a degree in Biology, Naema is interested in
pursuing a career in medicine. During her
free time, Naema enjoys cooking, hiking,
yoga, traveling, and creating abstract art.
Nelson nales

Nelson was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico
but recently moved back to Georgia from
Austin, TX where he graduated from the
University of Texas with a degree in
English Literature. During his time in
Austin, he served as a Cultural Ambassador
for exchange students and faculty visiting
the university as well as volunteered in
the ESL department. Nelson also recently
returned from a year abroad in Carentan,
France where he taught English and
Spanish to high school students. This will be
his first time working with a non-profit and
is excited for the opportunity to get to know
and serve the community here in Atlanta.

Patrick Daniels was born in Connecticut,
where he went to high school at the Greater
Hartford Academy of the Arts. He received
a Bachelor’s degree in Interactive Media
Design from Becker College in Worcester,
MA in 2017. In 2019, he completed a service
term with AmeriCorps CalSERVES program
in Napa, CA, where he served primarily as a
math tutor.

New Hampshire graduate isn’t watching

Seth Leebo Tyler is a graduate of Troy
University from Mobile, AL. He recently
worked at the College of William and Mary
under a fellowship in the Office Of
Community Engagement. As the Local
Engagement Fellow, he served as a bridge
between students and the community by
facilitating numerous service projects, topical
conversations, and guiding students toward
meaningful service.

Shane Sullivan grew up in Atlanta, GA and
later attended Emory University, where he
graduated from in 2018 with a BA in
Philosophy. While at Emory, Sullivan ran
cross country and track and was a member
of the Phi Sigma Tau International Honors
Society for Philosophy. Upon graduation, he
moved to Guatemala, where he worked for
an NGO that provides technical and financial
assistance to smallholder coffee farmers.
Most recently, Shane has been working as a
university-level humanities tutor and a
construction worker.

Tayla Wilson was born and raised in
Massachusetts, and attended Northeastern
University in Boston, MA. Through various
internships, she discovered her love of teach
ing and spent her first year as a
post-graduate working at a K-8 school,

classes. She then moved to California with
her fiancé and worked at a high school
teaching 10th grade history and mentoring a
group of 20 kids. She is very excited to learn
