History of the Blue Aspiration

Since 1992, Zeta Amicae of Raleigh, an auxiliary of Zeta Phi Beta
Sorority, Incorporated, Omicron Zeta Chapter has sponsored the
“Blue Aspiration” in conjunction with Omicron Zeta Chapter’s
annual Blue Revue. “The Blue Aspiration” is a scholarship program
for boys and girls, 5-10 years of age. It provides an opportunity for
these participants to begin their financial investment towards a
higher education early in life. Since the beginning of the first Blue
Aspiration, scholarships have been set up for over 100 youth.
Scholarships will be provided that will touch the lives of many more
youth.
During the 2020-2021 Blue Aspiration Year, Omicron Zeta Chapter
continued the tradition established by Zeta Amicae of Raleigh, by
sponsoring The Blue Aspiration Scholarship and Community Service
Program. A percentage, plus interest of the funds raised by the
participants are awarded to them upon admission to an accredited
institution of higher learning.
This Program tends to be the highlight of the Blue Revue. It is here
that our youngest participants are introduced to society in
an entertaining age appropriate manner.
The reigning Prince for 2021 is Mr. Kason Esque Cromartie.
The reigning Princess for 2021 is Miss Madisen Alise Moses.
