O In my overall reflection, I have quite an experienced and inspiring journey throughout the Micro-Teaching class conducted by Mr. Lachel Ardi Rupin. Within the journey, I have gained knowledge on the Lesson Plan's development, Stimulus Variation, Questioning Techniques, Reinforcement Strategies, Teaching Aids, and more. The advantages of attending this course are vast and varied. It helps boost self-assurance, put new methods into practice, and put instruction into practice. The ability to provide and receive constructive feedback while keeping an open mind and achieving appropriate teaching-learning objectives is the most crucial attribute of participants in microteaching sessions. verall Reflection
Overall Reflection Additionally, it boosts a teacher's selfconfidence in a welcoming and calm environment. Initially, I thought the course would be challenging, but fortunately, I had a wonderful and enriching time. Throughout this training, I gained a lot of knowledge and enjoyed myself immensely through a couple, group, and solo activities. In the end, I had a great overview of Micro- Teaching and its ability to transform pupils into an educator with rules, regulations, and steps to follow.
The first class of this subject Microteaching was pretty good. Our lecturer name is Mr. Lachel Ardi Rupin. My lecturer started off the lesson with asking for introducing ourselves to him. Along with that, he started to explaining on our assignments and projects. There were both group and individual work like creating teaching aid based on 4 main language skills which are speaking, writing, reading and listening, creating an ESL Blog with 8 activities mainly for the language skills were for group works. Besides, doing eportfolio and mockteaching is individual works. From the explanation given by my lecturer, I got the clear picture of the projects and assigned. I was clear on the submission dates and presentation days as well. My lecturer informed us earlier that we don't have any final exam but we got 2 test which is on the week 5 and another one is on week 9. I hope I can complete my task with the given time period with my peers. WEEK 1 DATE : 16 February 2023 (Thursday) TIME : 9.00 AM - 11.00 AM

Overall from the first tutorial class, I understand that Microteaching has a number of benefits. It focuses on developing our teaching abilities and improving specialised teaching structures as well as avoiding minor and major mistakes in future. It allows me to comprehend essential classroom behaviours. Along that, the learners can boost their self assurance as a teacher. After that, my lecturer Mr Lachel Ardi Rupin decided to make us play the Kahoot online platform game together with all my classmates. Kahoot can be a great way to break up the middle of the class to check for understanding. We get to answered some general knowledge questions after they were presented with some new information. It was simply a fun formative assessment for us.
From today's class, I learned the importance of learning objectives, purpose of a lesson plan and advantages of a lesson plan. I understand that learning objectives play an important role in lessons. It is necessary for all the teachers to create a clear lesson plan before the class starts. They facilitate the identification of what students should be able to perform due to education. As a result, lesson plan can make us organized whilst teaching and also give us a reality check of everyday performance in class. From this class, I have learned the components of lesson plan and methodology of it. Methodology is a specify timings of each of the steps such as introduction, previous knowledge, presentation as teacher's input and practice as student's output. At the end of this class, my lecturer gave us a task to discuss on why do teachers need to share learning outcomes/objectives with students and it was a group task. We discussed the answer and one of my group member read the answers aloud. WEEK 2 DATE : 23 February 2023 (Thursday) TIME : 9.00 AM - 11.00 AM

New day and new topic. Sir introduced the new topic of the day, Set Induction. Set induction has always been my favourite topic because it starter of a lesson and it is very important for an educator to grasp the students interest and attention throughout the lesson. Although it might sound easy but it's not. Sir helped us by explain and teach us some easy ways which can be conducted through class. WEEK 3 DATE : 03 March 2023 (Friday) TIME : 3.00 PM - 5.00 PM I learned good set induction strategies and also some tips for an effective set induction. The games should be in educational term and must be beneficial for students. We really enjoyed watching the video where the teacher and the students were play games together. The link of the video is given below.
For today's class, sir focused on the Stimulus variation topic. Stimulus variation is very important topic to be learned because it teaches how to enhance the children learning by helping them remain attentive. As a teacher in future, I can apply stimulus variation in my daily classes to make sure my students are maintaining their attention on my class. In this class, we actually learn about storage system, how to speak and listen, about para language and also non verbal communication categories. Non verbal communication is all type of conversations other than that involving bodily language or in online. For example, we can say that during lock down period students were supposed to study in online and it must a challenging past to all the teachers.
