Rover Moot yang menjadi memori indah, membanggakan Merangkap Penasihat Jawatankuasa

TUJUAN ROVER MOOT

❑ Mengeratkan silaturahim di antara Pengakap Sarawak dengan Pengakap dari negeri
– negeri lain di Malaysia dan juga Pengakap dari negara jiran seperti Brunei dan
Indonesia.

❑ Sebagai wadah untuk mempromosikan aktiviti kepengakapan kepada masyarakat di
Sarawak.

❑ Untuk menghimpunkan seluruh ahli Pengakap Kelana di Sarawak dalam satu
program khusus untuk Pengakap Kelana.

❑ Sebagai landasan untuk Pengakap Kelana di Sarawak bertukar-tukar pandangan dan
pengetahuan dengan Pengakap Kelana dari Semenanjung Malaysia, Sabah dan luar
negara.

❑ Sebagai inisiatif untuk membantu kerajaan Sarawak mempromosi tempat-tempat
menarik di Sarawak.

❑ Untuk memperkenalkan budaya Sarawak kepada Pengakap Kelana dari luar
Sarawak.

suasana yang aman, selamat dan selesa. Saya sungguh gembira kerana Yang Amat
Berhormat Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr.) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Abang
Haji Openg, Premier Sarawak merangkap Ketua Pengakap Sarawak sudi meluangkan
masa untuk hadir dan memberi sokongan yang begitu padu kepada pergerakan
Pengakap.

I lift up my hand to salute you Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri for We hope we can resolve the issues amicably so that both parties understand
your kind attendance in this occasion to officiate the launching of the Sarawak the matter. In fact, I am pleased to note that the scouts in Sarawak have been
1st Rover Moot which we scouts regard as the prestigious gathering of scouts able to look after their assets like land well and utilise it accordingly despite
who have attained the of 18 years to 26 years. These rover scouts are the constrain here and there as we are NGOs that do not have steady source of
heirs to the leadership of the scout movement. They are supposed to take over income. We hope to bid for more funding from the Federal Government and
leadership of the movement. But they must undergo the necessary leadership we hope our recent workshop on budgeting would come up with practical
training courses designed to develop their potentials and empower them to estimates to be submitted to the Federal Government to bid for more fund for
lead through what we call the patrol system. the years to come. I am doing my outmost with the co-operation of all the chief
commissioners nation-wide to come up with what we hope to get from the
Yang Amat Berhomat Premier, ladies and gentlemen, I am glad that the Federal Government. We hope to be able to assist the state organisations if
Sarawak 1st Rover Moot organised for the forst time here had attracted we get more fund in future. Nonetheless, we hope the Sarawak Government
participation from rover scouts from Semenjung Malaysia, Sabah, Berunei will continue to assist the Sarawak scouts in this matter so that scouting in
Darussalam, Pramuka from our neighbouring nation beside Sarawak. This is a Sarawak can grow to greater height and of course the scouts themselves must
great success as far as I am concerned. Keep it up Sarawak. work hard to find ways and means in order to stay relevant with time and
development.
Talking about how to make scouting more versatile and relevant, I am mulling
that scout movement in Malaysia be realigned so that we can have scout units YAB Premier, tuan-tuan dan puan-puan, selepas berkata demikian, saya ingin
