Made Of Yarn

Introduction

Vicky the kitty finally gets to go on one of dad’s business trips, but something
bad happens on the way there. Vicky had a mouse made of yarn that her mother had
given her before she passed away, and she looses it at the airport. Watch as Vicky
goes through the 5 stages of grief.

The day has come for Vicky
to finally go on her first trip
ever.

She packs all of her favorite
things...including her mouse
made of yarn.

She rushed out of the door and
hopped into the car to get to

the airport.

They were almost late for their
flight when they got to the
airport.

They were so fast to get on their
plane that Vicky didn’t even realise
she left her mouse made of yarn.

She looked over and over in her suitcase,
but the toy wasn't there.

She looked at her dad and asked, “ Do
you know where my pink mouse is?”

“No, I don’t know where it is,” replied
her dad.

“ Did you leave it at the house?”
questioned her dad. “ No, I remember
putting it in my suitcase,” Vicky
answered.

“Did you take it out somewhere?” This
made Vicky think very hard. “ Umm. . .
Yeah I pulled it out at the airport.” Her
dad wondered

She was thinking to herself, “ I put it back
in the suitcase right?” Then she asked her
dad the same question.

“I think you left it in the chair
at the airport,” said her dad.

Vicky didn’t want to believe it was
true…
She was in denial .

They finally got off the airplane
and went straight to the hotel.

When they got to the hotel
Vicky’s first reaction was to run
away….and she did.

She ran away thinking that when
she came back her mouse would be
right there waiting for her.

But she knew it wasn’t going to be
there. That made her very
angry...but she kept running.

She thought to herself I would
trade any other toy for my mouse
anything to get it back she was
bargaining but still running.

She became very tired of
running and in turn she
became very depressed about
the situation.

But then she turned around… she
had been running so fast she didn’t
know where she had come from.

Vicky started to cry for help. She
felt very alone...

And from the hotel that
wasn’t very far away her
dad heard her cries and
came running.

They met in the middle of the
woods behind the hotel. “Let’s
go back.” said the dad. Vicky
nodded and started walking.

As they were walking Vicky felt
the comfort her dad was giving
her and she accepted the fact
that she won’t get her mouse
back.

They went back to the hotel and
talked for a little bit about grief.
After their talk they went out for
dinner to end their long day of
travel.

The next day, Vicky and her
Dad flew back home. When
they got back home, Vicky
and her dad decided to go
visit her mom’s grave.

They stood in peace and silence.
There was a calm in the moment
and everything was okay.

The End
