With the proper documents in place, you have the ability to decide now who you wish to advocate for you, during times when you are unable to do so. You have the power to decide now how your “estate” will be distributed to your loved ones, to the greatest extent possible under the law. You have the ability to determine now how to care and provide for those with special interests, like minor children and/or elderly parents.
