Objective:
To create awareness about the importance of first aid in
preventing injuries and saving lives.
To be able to prevent injuries and save life.
To equip the student with the ability to act helpful in time of
need.
Programme:
In connection with World AIDS Day, a student from IX-A -
S.Subhashini gave a speech on the significance of the day. She
spoke about the symptoms and precautions of the disease.
Impression:
The students develop the capacity to provide quality first aid in
community-based service.
Outcome:
The students understood the importance of healthy life.
Vaccination camp for std IX to XII conducted by Government
Health Centre.
Dr. Shanthi addressed the students and said about leprosy.

Sastra stem lab was introduced in our school.
The main motive of introducing Sastra stem lab is to provide
skill building opportunities for the students to engage them
towards STEM related activities.
The workshop was conducted by a pedagogue from Propel
technologies on 21 and 22 March 2022.

The workshop has improved the coding skills, creative
thinking, active learning and problem solving.
CNR lab will promote the children for innovative ideas,
innovating thinking and also experimental learning.
We are very much proud to get an opportunity to participate
in Virtual competition in the name “Sastra Stem Lab League
2022” conducted by Propeller technologies.
Objective :
To understand the importance of Science day and

o Science day is observed on 28 of February every year to

scientific reasons behind hindu tradition, medicinal plants,
immunity booster, reduce plastics and 3R's, wonders of
science, social media and proper usage of mobile.

Objective:
To educate the students about Saint Thiyagarajar.
To make the students aware of the Bhakthi Marga shown by
him.
To enjoy the Keerthanas of Saint Thiyagarajar.

Saint Thiyagarajar Aaradhana Day was celebrated on
22.01.2022. Due to Covid 19, the students had prepared their
videos and shared to all classes through Neverskip.

Objective:
Prathishta refers to the rite or ceremony by which a Murti is
consecrated in a Hindu temple, where in hymns and Mantra are
recited to invite the deity.
After the Prathishta the statue represents the Tirthankara
and become a worshippable object.
Programme:
All the teachers alone carried out the honor of celebrating
this function unitedly.
This included chanting of sloka's of Vinayagar agaval,
Kandhashasti kavasam and Hanuman chalisa.
Also, new dresses and garlands were wore to the god and
offered the prasadham to the god.
Impression:
The whole idea of this celebration is to get the spiritual
highness and feeling the godliness.
Outcome:
Attained the spiritual satisfaction of getting the blessing
from the god by worshiping him.
Objective:
Sri Purandaradasar Aradhana is the annual aradhana of
Kannada saint composer Purandaradasar. The objective of this
"Aradhana" is to honor that great soul.
Programme:
Sri Purandaradasar, a great devotee of Lord Krishna, a poet
and a musician. He is considered as the father of carnatic music.
In our school, we celebrate Purandaradasar Aradhana on

Ramakrishna Jayanthi celebration inspires the students to
understand about the saint who was recalled for his service and
dedication to hindu philosophy.

By celebrating the greatness of the Guru, the students
pledge to adopt his simple ways of life to realize the ultimate.

hearts and in the soul of its people."
Objective:
To inculcate spiritual thoughts in the minds of children. To
know about our culture.
Programme:
Idols of gods and goddess were arranged in 5 sets of 3 steps.
Few students displayed their models, done creatively, in Golu.
Daily pooja and bhajan was done by our teachers.
On the last day of the celebration all the teachers did
bhajans, chanted slokas, said ashtothram on goddess
Saraswathi. We did pooja for classroom, lab and school vans.
Thambulam was distributed to all the staff.
Students did pooja at home and sent the video in their
respective class whatsapp.
Impression:
Students had learnt how to make arrangements for
Navarathri celebration.
Outcome:
Students understand the significance and greatness of
Navarathri celebration.
Objective:
The Vilakku pooja [lamp worship] is familiar among women
throughout tamil society and is usually done in groups.
It aims at collectively worshipping Goddess Mahalakshmi by
a large number of women at a time.
It is said to bring prosperity to the home and peace to the
world. It brings all auspicious things to each and every member.
Programme:
Teacher parent came to school and celebrated kuthu
vilakku pooja on 15 October, 2021.

Impression:
Goddess in the heaven are always worshipped during
festivals.
By doing this pooja, it is believed that Goddess Lakshmi,
wife of Lord Vishnu and the goddess of wealth visits her devotees
house during this pooja and bless them with abundant wealth
and good health.
Outcome:
The women will be blessed by money , blessed with long life ,
blessed with food, blessed with good health, blessed with victory
in life. This pooja gives us immense benefits if done whole
heartedly with full faith.
Objectives:
Mathru pooja is conducted in order to instill moral values in
the minds of children and to foster love and respect towards the
“Mother” who has endured great pain to bring the child into this
world.
Programme:
Mathru pooja was conducted on 15 October 2021.Due to

pandemic situation our teacher parent attended the function.
Our Principal and Vibuthi amma explained the importance of
“Mathru pooja”.
Impression:
The celebrations on that day left a feeling of bliss among all.
The children were taught about the benefits of giving due
respects to their elders/parents by performing the “Mathru”
pooja. The camp also taught about the nuances of “how to lead a
good life”.
Outcome:
Mathru pooja was also organized in connection with
Navarathri celebration.
Children pay their respects to their mothers in a ceremony
known as Mathru pooja.
Objective:
To educate the students about Naragasura vatham.
To create awareness on why do we celebrate Diwali
To advice the students on safe Diwali.
Programme:
Diwali celebration was celebrated along with Gubera
lakshmi pooja in school with the students. Significance of Diwali
said by Mrs. P. Savithiri. Students prepared videos on
Naragasura vatham by dance and on hoe to be safe during
lighting crackers and precaution methods.
Impression:
Students will understand how to celebrate diwali and also
they will know why do we celebrate diwali. Students develop
knowledge on safety measures on diwali.
Outcome:
By celebrating diwali, students understood the main
significance of diwali celebration.
Objective:
Karthigai is essentially a festival of lamps. The lighted lamp
is considered as an auspicious symbol. It is believed to ward off
evil forces in prosperity and joy. The students should take part in
spiritual activities and let them know the purpose of celebrating
karthigai.
Programme:
In our school it was celebrated on 19.11.21. Lamps were
lighted by the students of class from I to XII in the Murugan
temple and Hanuman temple respectively. Students chanted
Bhajan (Murugan songs) and Kandha sasti kavasam. It was
celebrated in a grand manner. The programme winds up with
Mangalam aarathi.

Students understood the significance of Karthigai deepam, a
traditional festival, the importance of lighting lamps.
Outcome:
Beautiful light is born of darkness. So the faith that springs
from conflict is often the strongest and the best. Enhances
spiritual development among students.
Objective:
To inculcate the spiritual thoughts in the minds of children.
Programme:
Hanuman Jayanthi is celebrated to commemorate the birth
of Lord Hanuman. On that day, abhishekam, alankaram and
maha aarathi was done.
Hanuman chalisa, ashtothram were recited.

Impression:
Students revitalized the grace of Lord Hanuman.
Outcome:
Students and teachers received the gracious shower of Lord
Hanuman with the compliment kit:

Objective:
To educate the students about importance of Pongal
festival.
To understand that it is thanks giving festival as it is held
to thank the Sun and the Lord Indra for helping farmers, in
growing higher yielding crops.
Programme:
Pongal festival was celebrated on 15th January 2022. Some
video presentation were shared among the students insisting the
importance of farmers contribution. The following students

The objective of celebrating Shivarathri is to recognize the
Shiva in us. Maha Shivarathri is an annual festival dedicated to
the hindu God Shiva and is particularly important in the
shaivism tradition of Hinduism.
Programme:
Maha Sivarathri celebration was celebrated in our school
premises on 1 March 2022 in a great manner under the

Students will understand Maha Sivarathri is the day to
meditate and concentrate while chanting Lord Shiva‟s Manthras

Objective:
To educate the students about Mahatma Gandhi‟s
thoughts and ideas.
To pay tribute to the legendary hero Mahatma Gandhi

Impression:
Since Gandhi was a pioneer of satyagraha, Gandhi
Jayanthi celebrations inspires the students to learn
resistance through non-violence.
Outcome:
By celebrating the greatness of the Mahatma,the
students pledged to adopt his simple ways of life and
principles of empathy, humbleness, honesty and sincerity.
Objective:
To educate the students about Lal Bahadur Shastri's
thoughts and ideas.
To make the students aware about Indian independence.

Master. S. Siddharth of IX-A gave speech about Lal
Bahadur Shastri and the same was uploaded in Neverskip on
2nd October.
Impression:
True democracy or the Swaraj of the masses can never come
through untruthful and violence.
Outcome:
Lal Bahadur Shastri was deeply influenced by the political
teachings of Mahatma Gandhi - "Hardwork is equal to prayer". In
the direct tradition of Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri
represented the best in Indian culture and inculcated the citizens
that they must fight for peace bravely.
Objectives:
To render assistance to educate under privileged
people who are economically backward.
To extend financial assistance to poor neglected
families in India.

Objectives:
To recall the establishment of the Indian Air Force (IAF) to
assist the army fighting on the ground.
The day also aims to increase awareness about the Indian
Air Force also known as the "Bhartiya Vayu Sena", as an
organisation dedicated to enhancing national security and
authority.
Programme:
Prepared a video highlighting the importance of Air Force
Day and shared it in Neverskip.

Impression:
The celebrations on Indian Air Force Day are marked every
year with a unique theme.
2020 Theme -- "The untiring efforts and supreme sacrifices
of its personnel".
2019 Theme -- "Know your Air Force".
With the help of themes students able to know the

Students will understand of protecting our mother land and
among the other armed forces, the IAF is "Crucial Organ" that
plays an important role in the wars of the country.
Outcome:
Students understand the motto of the Indian Air Force is
eleventh chapter of the "Bhagavad Gita".
"Nabham Sparsham Deeptham", which literally means "Touch the
sky with Glory".
An interesting fact is that IAF has taken its motto from the

Impression:
Children will understand about the values and
disciplines. The true essence of children‟s day is to
understand the significance of childhood in our lives.
Outcome:
It is observed on the birth anniversary of the first
Prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. He was very fond
of children and was referred to as “Chacha Nehru”.
A children‟s day serves as the perfect occasion for
spreading awareness about the rights, care and education of
a child.
Objective:
To make the students aware of Navy Day.
To develop the sense of patriotism and to become proud that
we belong to a great nation.

Navy Day was celebrated to commemorate operation trident,
which was the attack on the Karachi harbor during the Indo-
Pakistan war (On 4th December 1971). Navy Day was celebrated
with great enthusiasm and the speech delivered by Selvi.

respect through online. The Principal welcomed the gathering

Programme:
Every year 30 January is observed as Martyr‟s day. To

solemnize the melancholic day, a two minutes silence is observed
nation wide at 11.00 a.m to remember Martyrs. Students also
expressed their thoughts through speeches on the topic of
Martyrdom.

Students remember and salute the freedom fighters who
