I don’t know for sure the mindset that Catholic Memorial

Maria Patterson Sorce ‘96
Spokane, Washington
Theatre has been a part of Maria’s life since she started working in
community theatre at 8-years-old. In her time at CMH, she was an
active member in the technical side of the Drama Department. After
graduation, she worked as a theatre tech and stage manager for

and said his teachers and coaches were especially influential by
putting emphasis on the importance of teamwork, creative thinking,

Catholic Memorial High School has invested in international
student programs for decades. However, a partnership was
created with the Wisconsin International Academy (WIA) in 2013
to encourage more diversity and inclusiveness within the student
body. WIA works to recruit international students to study at
American high schools. CMH has welcomed students from all
over the world, but the majority hail from China. David Wu ’16
transfered at the start of the 2013-2014 school year. He was one
of the first WIA students to graduate from Catholic Memorial.
