Hello Crusader Alumni & Friends, It is with pride that I reflect on the past school year at Catholic Memorial. As you will see throughout this issue of Crusader Chronicles, there is much to be proud of as our CMH values were on full display by all members of our community. It is an honor to acknowledge the recognition CMH received from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee this summer in earning Exemplary Recognition for Academic Excellence. This distinction is a testament to the dedication, passion and hard work of everyone in the school, especially our outstanding faculty. CMH was the only high school in the Archdiocese to receive this recognition. In May, we celebrated the class of 2023 and their impressive accomplishments which include a class average GPA of 3.68 and their collective $18.8 million in college scholarships. CMH students continued to show their commitment to service with a staggering total of 4,302 hours of service completed by our National Honor Society students. In the classroom, academic excellence was once again recognized as CMH earned Distinguished School honors by Project Lead the Way for excellence in STEM curriculum and career readiness for a remarkable sixth consecutive year. CMH is one of three schools in Wisconsin to earn this recognition each year it has been given. Another point of pride is the 20 percent of our graduates who have signed letters of intent to compete at the college level – surpassing the national average by three times. All this positive momentum demonstrated by our students, faculty, staff and greater community has led to increased interest in prospective students attending Catholic Memorial for high school. As we prepare for the Fall Semester this August, we anticipate another large freshman class and will welcome many transfer students. This is due to the hard work of our faculty and staff, a commitment to excellence by our students, our partnership with parents and the involvement of our donor and alumni communities. Now more than ever, people value a Catholic Memorial education and student experience. Everything we have accomplished this school year has been highlighted by the incredible involvement and generosity of our community of alumni and donors. We recorded a recordbreaking auction with more than $400,000 raised. Our Friends of the Arts and Parents' Club raised funds and oversaw the installation of a new touch screen hung near the auditorium that will highlight and honor past theater performances and our visual arts for years to come. Finally, our new event series, Alumni & Friends Business After 5, has provided an opportunity for CMH alumni to network and connect with fellow Crusaders. You can read more about all these topics throughout this issue. As we look forward to another school year, please consider becoming involved with our school community however you can. Your involvement is critical to our success. The pride we all feel is well earned. I extend a sincere thank you for the many ways you support CMH. Our school community would not be what it is today without you. Our Lady of Memorial, pray for us! Catholic Memorial had the honor of hosting the Catholic Schools Week Mass again this year along with Archbishop Listecki. Those in attendance witnessed an extraordinary gathering of over 1,400 students from grade schools, middle schools and current Catholic Memorial students. It was an inspiring display of the unifying power of Catholic education. As the Mass concluded, the atmosphere was filled with an overwhelming sense of Catholic school spirit, as every attendee, including the Archbishop, waved a CMH rally towel. This moment captured the essence of unity, pride and shared values, leaving a lasting impression on all those who attended the Mass. Catholic Memorial hosted its ninth annual STEM Challenge, attracting over 300 middle school students from 25 private and public schools in Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties. Divided into teams, students embarked on the task of designing and constructing a bridge structure capable of withstanding the greatest weight. To ensure success, every group was introduced to Memorial Propel, CMH's proprietary design thinking process, which fostered effective teamwork and enabled them to unleash their creativity with the given materials. After an exhilarating day of testing and evaluation, the judges were impressed by the ingenuity and innovation showcased by the participants. Ultimately, it was the team from St. Anthony on the Lake who emerged victorious, as their bridge held an impressive 17.816 pounds. The atmosphere in the gyms as designs were tested was electric, reflecting the passion and energy the students poured into their designs. Catholic Memorial's ninth annual STEM Challenge proved to be a resounding success, inspiring young minds to continue to explore the power of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Thank you to Mrs. Mary Petrie for leading the event and to the amazing volunteers and student mentors for their support of this important day. Special thank you to our outstanding STEM sponsors: Industrial Associates, Dedicated Computing, Aries Industries, Inc., Metal-Era Inc. and Weldall Manufacturing for making this event possible! The cast and crew of Catholic Memorial’s winter musical, Godspell, captivated audiences with the production, staged over two weekends. All performances were sold out, a testament to the talent and dedication poured into the show. Countless hours were devoted to rehearsals, mastering lines and choreography, constructing sets and preparing the technical aspects of the performance. Their hard work created a beautiful show that truly showcased the remarkable abilities of the students. A very special thank you to the volunteers that made the show such a success. Their time, talent and dedication are truly appreciated and mean so much to everyone involved. Three signing days were held throughout the 2022-23 school year to celebrate CMH student-athletes who signed their National Letters of Intent to compete at the collegiate level. In total, 30 members of the Class of 2023, nearly 20 percent of the class, intend to compete in college athletics next school year. This is a testament to the talent, hard work and demand for excellence that each Crusader athlete embodies, as well as, the quality programs and coaches at Catholic Memorial. While the senior class embarked on their final retreat together, the juniors, sophomores and freshmen enjoyed a day focused on community building. The group was given the opportunity to hear from Green Bay Packer legend, Mike McCoy. Mike spoke about his journey and the importance of faith, hard work and surrounding yourself with uplifting relationships. His message about positive choices inspired our students. The second half of the day featured a flurry of activities including service projects for area organizations and timed activities that brought out everyone's competitive nature. Laughter could be heard throughout the school as each group went from station to station. The day was a true showcase of Crusader spirit. Students involved in the Concert Choir, Chamber Ensemble, Jazz Band and Jazz Ensemble put together a beautiful Spring Concert performance. CMH is so proud of this group of students for the dedication they have shown this entire year to get to this incredible level. Thank you to our music department teachers and volunteers for helping our students reach such amazing heights! CMH students were given the amazing opportunity to participate in the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy this year. The CMH group was sponsored by Kyle Bartz, the owner/operator of Chick-fil-A in Pewaukee. The program is for freshmen and sophomore students, who apply and are selected to participate. The students meet once a month to learn leadership skills and execute service projects. The group completed several projects including organizing a drive to donate 500+ books to a local organization, Waukesha Christmas Clearing Council and making Christmas cards filled with gift cards for children and parents at Waukesha Catholic School. For their year-end Impact Project, the group completed a project focused on serving the military. They organized the entire Catholic Memorial student body to participate in supporting the Cards for Soldiers organization, based in Grayling, Michigan. Students worked in small groups to create cards and supply packs for Cards for Soldiers that provide a way for soldiers to communicate and mail cards to their loved ones while they are deployed. The project was a perfect fit for our CMH students to get involved with and to honor our school’s founding as a Living Memorial to the 23 soldiers from St. Joseph Parish who gave their lives in service to our country in WWII. Catholic Memorial welcomed more than 90 middle school students in March for the CMH Future Leaders Forum. Students took part in activities to learn and grow in their leadership skills including a blind obstacle course, a tower build challenge and a presentation portion. The day culminated in an escape room challenge that tested the leadership skills of every student involved. Current CMH students showcased their leadership skills, guiding the future leaders through the day and pushing them to become more confident, collaborative and creative. The Catholic Memorial family was honored to host its annual Celebrating Lives of Service ceremony to honor the 29 servicemen that gave their lives in service to our country and for whom the school stands as a Living Memorial. The 29 were acknowledge by the members of the Class of 2023 who plan to enter the military. The CMH student community welcomed many veterans, those active in the military, grandparents and special guests for a day focused on the importance of service. Students participated in the capstone presentation showcase event in May for those taking the Engineering Design and Development class. Students had the opportunity to unveil the products they created and developed over the course of the school year to an audience of guests and an expert panel of professionals for evaluation. It was an impressive group of presentations with products that ranged from a heat/flame notification that prevents stove fires, a solution to grab debris from house roofs and trees, an arch support accessory to prevent foot pain and injury, a rear-view mirror with a built-in alert for upcoming dangerous intersections to help keep drivers safe and more. The audience and panel left impressed with the creativity, innovation and collaboration the students exemplified with their final projects. Catholic Memorial’s fourth annual day of giving, One Day in May, brought Crusaders together far and wide to support CMH students. Nearly 300 donors supported One Day in May, raising more than $110,000. Funds raised benefit the Crusader Fund, providing character-building faith formation, hands-on learning experiences, vital tuition assistance, extraordinary extracurriculars, talented faculty and more. The day was highlighted by exciting matches and challenges from members from the Catholic Memorial community and, of course, the dunk tank that saw several CMH teachers take the plunge. A sincere thank you to all who support Catholic Memorial and participated in One Day in May. This year's CMH Student Art Show was an incredible display of creativity and talent from CMH art students. More than 350 pieces from 175 students were showcased. The art pieces utilized a variety of mediums including sculpture, oil painting, graphic design, photography, and more. The art exhibit was displayed in the Innovation Wing for all the school to see. It was thrilling to walk through and view the beautiful works of art created throughout the school year by exceptionally talented students. The Catholic Schools Dinner held on March 7, was an inspiring celebration of Catholic education that drew a record crowd of 900 attendees. The event was a forum to raise funds and honor members in the community for their work to expand and elevate Catholic Education In late June, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee announced the schools that received Exemplary Recognition. Catholic Memorial was honored to be the only school to receive Exemplary Recognition for Academic Excellence. The Exemplary Recognition Program is based on the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools, and honors schools that have demonstrated innovation and outstanding results in the areas of Academic Excellence, Educating the Whole Student, Mission and Catholic Identity and Technology Integration. This recognition comes after a rigorous evaluation process that included an application and site visit to rate Catholic Memorial across thirteen areas of academic excellence. This recognition is a testament to the dedication, passion, and hard work of the CMH faculty and staff. “We are humbled to be recognized by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee for Academic Excellence,” CMH principal, Bonnie Scholz, said. “I cannot overstate that the credit for this honor rests on the high standard of academic rigor throughout the Archdiocese. Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki established the Elizabeth Ann Seton Awards and presents them annually at the dinner for outstanding community members in three categories — priest, educator and community member. This year, the event was especially important to the Catholic Memorial community as CMH president, Donna Bembenek, was recognized with the Elizabeth Ann Seton Educator Award for her passion for and dedication to Catholic Memorial and Catholic education. The Archbishop specifically highlighted Donna’s efforts during the pandemic to lead fellow high school presidents in formulating policies and protocols and advocating for state funding. She worked tirelessly to ensure five-day, in-person education at CMH to help all students continue to get uninterrupted education. Additionally, she was recognized for the positive impact she has made to increase the collaboration among the 16 high schools within the Archdiocese, helping to establish school president meetings that have resulted in strong relationships and open communication. “I have found Donna to be an exceptional leader of Catholic Memorial High School. Her entire focus is on ensuring the success of the students, faculty and the Catholic Memorial community alike," current CMH parent and board member, Dan Plas, said. “Her commitment to providing a safe, supportive and faith-based atmosphere for Catholic education and young adult growth is unrivaled in the greater Milwaukee area.” The CMH community was thrilled to celebrate this outstanding accomplishment. It was a welldeserved honor for everything Donna has done to make a positive impact on Catholic Memorial and Catholic education in the Archdiocese. and quality instruction delivered by our faculty. The broad depth of our curriculum ranging from International Baccalaureate programming to AP Courses, Concurrent Enrollment, STEM and our prestigious internship program, positions our students well for their post-secondary career choices. Additionally, our commitment to individualized support through our Academic Resource Center helps all students succeed." In the announcement from the Archdiocese, CMH was highlighted for excelling in designing classroom instruction to engage and motivate all students, addressing the diverse needs of each student and applying effective strategies for accommodations and dedication to utilize current research for innovative classroom experiences that foster collaboration and creativity to achieve optimal student success. The evaluation committee additionally highlighted the faculty at Catholic Memorial for their ability to use their knowledge of subject matter, teaching and learning and technology to facilitate experiences that advance and elevate student learning. "This recognition is a testament to the strength of the entire community," CMH president Donna Bembenek said. "It would not have been possible without the strong partnership with parents, the generosity of donors, the support from committee members and the tireless efforts, creativity and care of our faculty and staff. This recognition serves as a reminder that the education received at CMH extends far beyond the classroom, our educational community is truly exceptional." The 42nd Annual Crusader Auction, held on February 18, was an incredible night of celebration and support! More than 400 members of the CMH community came together for “Springtime in Paris.” It might have been a chilly February evening outside, but everyone attending the event was enchanted by the Springtime in Paris theme. Guests had an absolutely wonderful evening strolling through the avenues of incredible silent auction items under the strings of crystal dew drops and the perfect shade of apple blossom flower pedal pink umbrellas floating from the ceiling, enjoying fun conversation and listening to the musical stylings of the CMH band to set the perfect Parisian tone. After the entertainment in the InPro Athletic Center was finished, everyone gathered in the Julia Weber gym that had been transformed to host a gourmet dinner served with the Eiffel tower twinkling in the background. The live auction and paddle raise portion of the evening was an inspiring display of support that resulted in a recordbreaking event to support the Crusader Fund. The night was a tremendous success thanks to the donors, volunteers, sponsors, attendees, and supporters! CMH COMMUNITY ENJOYS "SPRINGTIME IN PARIS" School Development 12
Alumni, alumni parents, current parents and friends came together in celebration and support of Crusader athletics. The rain stayed away this year as golfers enjoyed a beautiful day on the course. Golfers participated in challenging hole contests and enjoyed camaraderie with the Crusader community. Golfers tested their skills on the course, ending up with birdies, eagles, a few dips in the ponds and brushed off after digging out of the sand traps. The friendly competition kept everyone engaged with awards for longest put, longest drive, overall foursome winners and more that were announced back at the clubhouse. Congratulations to this year’s winning foursome of Kyle Harvey ’04, Matt Waite ’04, Andrew Krueger ’07, and Sean Harvey ’10. The entire group came together to relax and celebrate another impressive day on the greens with a 19th hole happy hour, silent auction, dinner and presentation highlighted by CMH rising senior, Sean Nicholas ’24. It was a wonderful day to support Crusader athletics. Mark your calendars for next year’s golf outing on Monday, June 10 at Westmoor Country Club! 2023 CRUSADER GOLF OUTING ENJOYS BEAUTIFUL DAY 13

Members of the CMH alumni family, faculty and staff embarked on the trip of a lifetime on June 12, 2023 to spend two weeks on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and Rome. CMH principal, Bonnie Scholz, Theology teacher, Katie Kannall ’08, Academic Resource Specialist, current parent and alumni parent, Angie Flanagan, alumnus, Jon Metz ’88, and alumna, Alexandra Buchelmayer ’21 were among the 108-person group from St. Anthony on the Lake Parish. The travelers took three separate flights to meet together in Tel Aviv, Israel to begin their travels. They continued their journey through the steps of Jesus and the Saints. The group was able to fully immerse themselves in the experience, visiting The Church of the First Miracle, The Church of the Annunciation, Mount Tabor, The Church of the Nativity, The Jordan River, The Dead Sea and so much more. The group finished their journey and arrived back on June 25, 2023, with many stories of witness to the wonder and connection to Jesus. The pilgrims kept a blog during their travels to document the different places and experiences they encountered. They celebrated Masses together, knelt at the birthplace of Jesus, stepped in the waters where Jesus was baptized, prayed together, laughed, cried tears of joy, enjoyed meals, struggled in the heat and journeyed on. “I was so honored to lead these pilgrims on a transformational experience that helped us all to understand the historical context of our faith,” CMH Principal, Bonnie Scholz, said. “From the Jordan River to the Sea of Galilee, to the mighty churches and monuments built by the Crusaders in the 12th Century and ending in the Holy City of Rome, this has been an amazing experience.” To read the full Pilgrimage to the Holy Land blog visit: www.stanthony.cc/holy-land-rome CMH COMMUNITY PILGRIMAGE TO THE HOLY LAND AND ROME 15
We try to empower the people we work with and build their confidence. That makes all the difference. For CMH alumni parent and grandparent, Art Wigchers, the work he does with the GirlsGain project through Catholic Relief Services, comes naturally to him. He speaks about the program’s success and planned expansion with a humble presence, but it is that unassuming attitude that makes Art the perfect person to build relationships and empower others from different cultures across international borders. Art was always active with local charitable organizations. However, it was his wife, Mary Ann, who introduced him to Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in 2000 that led him to start traveling extensively in 2003 for several projects. He was involved in bringing teachers to Ethiopia to train teachers in several rural communities. Then, in 2014, his good friend, Bishop Abraham, from the Meki Diocese in Ethiopia, introduced Art to the GirlsGain project and how they might work to help empower girls. He accepted the volunteer facilitator role and has been helping to lead the way since. “I think choosing the nonprofit and charitable organizations you wish to help is a bit like deciding on ice cream flavors," Art said. "You know that any flavor or organization would be great, but when you find your best fit and the one that suits your personality, it’s perfect.” He travels to Ethiopia on a regular basis to check in with communities, visit schools, meet community leaders and families. Alongside his dedicated colleagues and translators, he helps communities elevate the opportunities given to girls and young women. The GirlsGain project aims to educate and elevate girls and their families in towns located in rural areas throughout Ethiopia. A beautiful country located in the horn of Africa, Ethiopia holds a very young population -- more than half of its 110 million people are 19 or younger. With the population being so young, the leadership in the most rural of areas can struggle to educate and overcome some of the harmful traditional practices that have remained. While the country’s constitution calls for equality, cultural challenges continue to exist. The GirlsGain project educates groups to address and halt the harmful practices of female genital mutilation, forced marriages often arranged at infancy, abductions of girls, unequal property rights available for females, and the overall lack of emphasis on education. The GirlsGain programs has focused on 12 to 15-year-old girls continuing their education in academic areas as well as health, nutrition, sanitation, hygiene and peace building. discussions in “gender clubs” about these topics and the rights of boys and girls. The project intentionally includes boys in tutoring and gender clubs so they can also improve their learning skills and see how capable the girls are when they are allowed to express themselves and ask questions. For young women aged 16 to 19, who are generally married with children, the project introduces them to Catholic Relief Services’ Savings and Internal Lending Communities (SILC) program, which is a form of micro-finance in addition to the lessons on nutrition, hygiene, sanitation and peace building. It is a powerful tool for gaining equality, where girls learn how to develop a plan to expand their profit-generating activities and save a designated amount of money for a period of time before they can obtain a loan. The skills these young women learn create a more equal dynamic in their families. The husbands gain a higher level of respect and sense of equality with women when they see how capable their wives are at trading and raising small animals for sale. There are over 3,800 young women active in 181 SILC groups formed to date. To stay in the program, participants must save at least 50 cents every two weeks. These rural areas do not have employers where girls can find a job, so creating these opportunities for entrepreneurial mindsets for agriculture are the most successful ways to create sustainable income to support their families. Select girls and boys who assume leadership positions in their communities with the GirlsGain Project are awarded a cell phone and a small solar panel. These items are significant in an area where few families have a phone and electricity is only something they have heard about. The solar panel is a way for them to charge their devices and also provides access to energy to power three small lights going for 6 to 8 hours each evening. This is an especially powerful gift when these are the only lights in a household. The program also provides books to school libraries and funding to build separate toilet facilities for boys and girls. The program partners with the schools in each community to host quarterly parent-student meetings to discuss progress for students involved in the GirlsGain program. These meetings have created a sense of community and an elevated respect for the female population and help to encourage the continued value in education for the girls and young women in each community. Through the direction of local community, government, and religious leaders, the young Ethiopian GirlsGain staff in each of these areas continue to help build stronger communities as everyone now appreciates what these young girls can do. During Art’s most recent trip to Ethiopia in late June and early July, he will be visiting and launching the GirlsGain program in 38 new communities this year and nine next year. This is a tremendous step and will be expanding the programs to 80 communities in total. The goal for each community is for the program to become sustainable under the supervision of their own local governments and be visited and given updated resources from the GirlsGain staff. Currently, there are 42 communities that are now at that stage of maturity where the local leaders the programs. CRS and local GirlsGain partners continue to monitor the program success in these first 42 communities. The work that Art and the exceptional staff have done to expand the GirlsGain and Girls Empowerment projects is incredible and invaluable. They have delivered life-changing information and services to thousands of Ethiopian girls and young women, provided tutoring and instruction to boys, scheduled discussions with their parents and community members, and increase understanding of how everyone benefits when girls are allowed opportunities to reach their potential. Recently, his work and his travels have been in conflict areas and he has traveled alone, but he has a great support system from his family and friends. His hope is to involve the students and CMH community with this project. “It is a natural fit for the CMH community. My children graduated from CMH (Andrea Wigchers Kutcher ’88, William Wigchers ’89 and Monica Wigchers O’Brien ’93) and my granddaughter just did as well, (Shannon Kutcher ’23). I have always known the CMH students and extended community to be focused on service and helping those in need,” Art said. “At CMH, the emphasis on an entrepreneurial mindset and building confidence in a co-ed environment is at the core. I hope the community can begin to get involved through prayer for this project, and then if they see this as the right fit for them, we encourage them to make it their own. Some successful endeavors involve making items, having bake sales, etc. to raise funds to help expand our reach in Ethiopia. It’s unique to your community and builds confidence and skills they didn’t know they were capable of.” To learn more about the GirlsGain project visit www.GirlsGain.org "I have always known the CMH students and extended community to be focused on service and helping those in need." -Art Wigchers Photos courtesy of Catholic Relief Services 17
There have been several updates to spaces throughout the building during the 2022-23 school year, but one that has created a lot of buzz has been the addition of an interactive screen at the entrance to the CMH theater. The touch screen was installed at the end of April and was an instant hit for audience members arriving to see the Spring Showcase. The excitement continued as grandparents and special guests paged through the site during our Celebrating Lives of Service and Grandparent’s Day celebration event. The new addition is an interactive display that showcases the incredible work from the Performing Arts and Fine Arts programs at CMH. Guests can navigate through the interactive portal to see images from past productions, art shows, band groups, choir groups, alumni features, access the CMH website, and more. The addition was made possible through funding provided to CMH from the Friends of the Arts parent group, Parents’ Club and CMH grandparent, Jill Rowan (grandmother of McKenna Domach ’22 and Marley Domach ’27). The support from this dedicated group was instrumental in both the funding and creation of this new feature to highlight the incredible arts programs at CMH both past and present. The excitement surrounding this live archive and interactive resource grows with every additional piece of media added. Several resources have been used to add the initial content, and media is added weekly in hopes to create the most comprehensive archive of highlights possible. Content is being added weekly. The CMH community is encouraged to send content and stories about the amazing performances and alumni success in the arts. Please send your photos, videos, stories and more to Krissy Hartung at [email protected] You can interact with the new touchscreen program in-person at CMH or virtually here: A NEW ADDITION TO CELEBRATE THE ARTS AT CMH Showcasing the Arts 18
The Catholic Memorial community is led by the thousands of proud and successful Crusader alumni across the country and the world. To create an environment where CMH alumni can connect and network with fellow Crusaders, the Business After 5 event series was launched in 2022. These networking events, attended by alumni, alumni businesses and alumni friends, feature a happy hour with drinks and appetizers, where attendees make business and personal connections through the CMH community. The winter of 2022 kicked off the networking series with Catholic Memorial hosting the first event in the Innovation Wing. There were alumni spanning multiple decades and industries – representing the 1970’s through 2010’s and from finance, insurance, marketing, engineering and healthcare. The second Business After 5 event was held this spring hosted by alumni-owned Moore Construction Services. Further business connections were made, companies in attendance learned about Catholic Memorial’s internship program for qualified seniors and offered their companies to host an intern, information was shared on the newly purchased sports complex and lucky raffle winners left with CMH swag and spirit wear. We are excited to announce the next Business After 5 event will be co-hosted by Catholic Memorial and Marquette University on Thursday, September 21 at the College of Business Administration’s brand new facility, O’Brien Hall. All are invited to see this new space and connect with your fellow alumni! CMH Sweethearts Did you date in high school? Did you reconnect after high school? We met in study hall my junior year and Haley’s sophomore year. Haley was writing on my arm and the rest is history. What year did you get married? Were there any CMH alumni in or at your wedding? We married in November, 2018 at a winery in Irvine, CA. My family left the CMH state football game my brother was playing in and went immediately to the airport. It was a smaller wedding. Our siblings and a few close friends were in the wedding and most of them are graduates of CMH. What is your connection to Catholic Memorial since graduating? My mom works in the main office at CMH, and my cousin Nick Vitale was the football offensive coordinator and Health and PE teacher. We still enjoy attending football games and other sporting events. Did you date in high school? Did you reconnect after high school? We dated briefly in high school but were mostly just great friends. After high school we went to different universities and didn’t see each other for several years. In 2007, we ran into each other in while attending the wedding of two other alumni (Jennifer Sherman & Sean McNulty). Shortly after that we began dating. What year did you get married? Were there any CMH alumni in or at your wedding? We got married in September, 2012. Many alumni attended our wedding. Six alumni were in the wedding party alone! The six being Katie Finn Gottschlich ’03, Jeff Tomchek ’01, Amanda Nelson Heins ’01, Christopher Hartman ’01, Kurt Ihn ’01 and Nick Lenarduzzi ’05 What is your connection to Catholic Memorial since graduating? As a Civil Engineer Patrick works in Milwaukee and just recently joined the Facilities committee at CMH. I work as a Physician Assistant in Waukesha County. We feel blessed to have so many lasting friendships from our time at CMH. In our free time, we love to travel and spend time with our family, our dog, and our friends.
