WELCOME FROM OUR PRESIDENT
I am excited to be the first to raise a virtual glass with you in celebration of the 40th
Annual Crusader Auction: Bourbon, Boots, Bubbles and Bling! This auction looks
very different from its predecessors and will definitely be one for the books. Kick up
your boots, pop the champagne or bourbon and gather your “social bubble” for an
evening of impact, fun and celebration.
Thank you for being flexible and joining us virtually. Our donors, parents, students,
faculty and staff have continuously adjusted to the ever changing educational
landscape, especially during this pandemic. This evening is an important
celebration of the CMH community as we continue to rise to the challenges of today
and tomorrow.
I am overcome with gratitude for the level of support we continue to receive from
you all. You enable our students to excel in the classroom, on the field, on stage
and in our community as they prepare for a profoundly different future influenced
by technology and exciting new options for applying their talents and leading with
their faith.
Proceeds from this evening benefit EVERY student through the Crusader Fund.
Your support –not just tonight, but throughout the year – makes it possible for
us to provide the highest quality Catholic education. Your generosity ensures we
can attract and retain the best and brightest faculty and staff, invest in technology
critical to preparing our students for careers of the future and provide a safe
learning environment. Thanks to all of you, we can offer a campus ministry
program that creates a faith foundation our students can rely on- this may be
more important now than ever before. Your support ensures access to families
throughout the Greater Waukesha area who wish to prioritize a Catholic Memorial
education but need help doing so. This year, during the most challenging of times,
your generosity has enabled us to maintain in-person instruction 5 days a week,
providing our students an exceptional education where they continue to progress,
ready for what comes next.
We are thrilled that you could join us for this historical celebration! Thank you for
giving generously. You are an inspiration to me and to all the faculty and staff at
CMH.
Our Lady of Memorial. Pray for us!
