REGIONAL AMBASSADOR CLUB
KUALA LUMPUR

CHARTER NIGHT

ORIENTAL PEARL RESTAURANT

BUKIT KIARA EQUESTRIAN COUNTRY CLUB & RESORT

7pm, 18th August 2017

Message from
Prime Minister of Malaysia
Dato Seri Najib Abdul Razak

We have ambassadors in many countries representing Malaysia on an
official basis. They have done great works in helping to build good
relations between our nations. However, at times of much discord among
countries and cultures, especially like what we are seeing today, we need a
lot more people to help in nurturing better understanding and harmony
among different people across borders and communities. Every individual
who deals with another person from a different country or culture is an
ambassador for his country and his people. In small ways, they too can
help in building relations among people. Therefore, organizations like the
Ambassador Club, which is a friendship club of no political and religious
affiliations, are wonderful organizations that can help immensely in
cultivating better understandings and promoting harmony among people
from different backgrounds.
I am pleased to see the establishment of Ambassador Clubs in Malaysia.
Though the first Ambassador Club was established in 1956 in Switzerland,
it took 60 years to finally arrive in Malaysia; first in Kota Kinabalu in 2016
and now in Kuala Lumpur. However, it is better late than never, and I am
very happy to congratulate the members of Regional Ambassador Club
Kuala Lumpur on the establishment of their club and hope they will
continue to grow and establish more Ambassador Clubs in Malaysia.
I am particularly glad to note that RACKL has kicked off with charter
members consisting of different races, religions and status. It is truly
representative of a good friendship club. Indeed it is a Muhibah club and
for that I say Syabas RACKL. Your club’s focus on visitations and social
activities to foster friendships is unique and admirable. I whole-heartedly
support your club and look forward to seeing your club playing an active
role for our country and working with me and my ministries to help build
better relations among people and foster greater harmony through
friendship and community activities.

The AMBASSADOR CLUB is an international association and has no political
or religious affiliations. Both men and women may be members. Members
regard themselves as AMBASSADORS for a society with humanitarian values
and will strive to further international understanding.
AMBASSADORS have humanity and human dignity as their focal point.
AMBASSADORS are tolerant, they respect the opinions, views and the
religious convictions of others like their own because only the variety of
religions, cultures, opinions and views enables the further development of
mankind. AMBASSADORS have the courage to express their own opinion and
are willing to bear a share of the responsibility for the community.
AMBASSADORS are on friendly terms with each other, they support each
other in all spheres of life.
The Club life
The club life takes place in the regional Ambassador clubs. The members of a
club meet at least once a month having as their motto «May the individuality in
the community progress». It is the club’s responsibility to organize the
exchange of ideas, lectures, visits, cultural and social events including their
families. The meetings gain special value by the variety of new experiences,
knowledge and understanding as well. Each club is dedicated to an active
engagement in matters social and cultural according to its possibilities,
inclinations and the local conditions. Besides the regional club life, national and

festive gala event which gives the members the chance to make contact based
upon lively discussions.

club. The approval of all the members is necessary for an acceptance.
