Program regional allocation funding as part of the Teacher Preparation/STEM-CTE
project in the Los Angeles region.
WHO WE ARE TEACHLARC.ORG



Teach LARC is a regional consortium of education, (657) 234-7649
business, and community partners dedicated to [email protected]
facilitating access to in-demand teaching careers.
Funded by a grant from the California Community
College Chancellor’s Office, Teach LARC is part of a
broader statewide campaign seeking to provide
clearer avenues to these critical occupations,
particularly for traditionally undeserved populations. OUR WORK


Through curated partnerships with PreK-12
institutions, the California State University
system, and more, Teach LARC strives to set
a future-minded foundation for regional
teacher education, addressing critical
workforce shortages while promoting access,
equity and social mobility through career
education.


Teach LARC’s services are aligned with the
California Community Colleges Teacher
Preparation Programs (CCC TPP) – a set of
initiatives aimed at nurturing a diverse,
well-qualified teaching workforce.

THIS CONFERENCE IS ORGANIZED BY TEACH LA REGIONAL COLLABORATIVE
TEACHLARC.ORG
SESSIONS ARE HOSTED INDEPENDENTLY BY REGIONAL COMMUNITY COLLEGES, TRANSFER
INSTITUTIONS, AND EDUCATION PARTNERS. THIS REGIONAL CONFERENCE PROVIDES AN
OPPORTUNITY TO ENGAGE WITH MANY HIGHER EDUCATION PARTNERS AND FACULTY IN THE LOS
ANGELES REGION!




JOIN US FOR 36 BREAKOUT SESSIONS OVER THIS WEEKLONG SERIES. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO
KNOW TO TEACH FOR LA! AND IT'S ALL FREE!



BREAKOUT SESSIONS WILL BE OFFERED AT VARIOUS TIMES OF THE DAY. THERE WILL BE A SPECIAL
NETWORKING FAIR ON FRIDAY MAY 7TH, AND AWESOME KEYNOTE SPEAKERS ON MONDAY MAY 3RD
AND FRIDAY MAY 7TH! AT THE NETWORKING FAIR ON FRIDAY MAY 7TH, WE WILL END OUR
WEEKLONG CONFERENCE WITH A GIVEAWAY DRAWING. YOU MUST BE PRESENT DURING THE
GIVEAWAY AND LIVE IN CALIFORNIA TO WIN.


ONCE YOU ARE REGISTERED, EACH DAY OF THE CONFERENCE YOU WILL CHOOSE YOUR OWN
BREAKOUT SESSIONS.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL ZOOM LINKS FOR THE CONFERENCE WILL BE SENT THE DAY PRIOR. FOR INSTANCE, ON
SUNDAY MAY 2ND, ALL ATTENDEES WILL RECEIVE THE SCHEDULE FOR MONDAY MAY 3RD WITH ALL ZOOM LINKS NEEDED TO
ATTEND SESSIONS. ZOOM LINKS WILL NOT BE SENT EARLIER. YOU WILL RECEIVE THEM 1 DAY BEFORE THE CONFERENCE

Conference Conclusion: Keynote Speaker, Networking and Giveaway




Keynote speaker

Yadira Arellano, Teacher Preparation Coordinator and Faculty,

El Camino College




Ms. Arellano will share her story of coming to the United States at 7

years old, and her journey through California’s education system as a
second language learner and undocumented student. Yadira’s message


today will be about hope and the positive impact teachers can make in
our lives. Ms. Arellano is a professor of Early Childhood Education and

Education, who is a leader in teacher preparation. Come to be INSPIRED

and to learn about how WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
