(CCCTPP) – a set of initiatives aimed at
nurturing a diverse, well-qualified

Keynote Speaker, Yadira Arellano


Teacher Preparation Coordinator and Faculty

El Camino College

Ms. Arellano will share her story of coming to the United States at 7 years old, and her journey
through California’s education system as a second language learner and undocumented student.

Yadira’s message today will be about hope and the positive impact teachers can make in our
lives. Ms. Arellano is a professor of Early Childhood Education and Education, who is a leader in
teacher preparation. Come to be INSPIRED and to learn about how WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
