HELP YOUR CHILDREN ACHIEVE
We all want the best for our children. Finding ways to support their interests and
encouraging their efforts can be challenging, especially while juggling family
dynamics. The following are tips for helping our children to excel in school and
their extracurricular activities.
Confidence Builders IMPORTANT

• Encourage your children to try new things and invite the unexpected. CLASSES RESUME
• For every minute of disciplining, be sure to give at least three minutes of praise, Monday, January 17

sure your children appreciate all of their strengths, whether artistic, athletic,
musical, funny, or warm-hearted. Always remind them how special they are. Warm & Cozy Shabbat
Motivation Boosters with Grandparents
• Visit museums, libraries, and historical sites. Real-life learning experiences
create an interest in and of learning. (see page 9 for details)
• Make it a monthly goal to incorporate new, enjoyable experiences in the family
schedule. Learning together as a family can be fun!
• Compile a display of your child’s achievements, awards, and benchmarks.
Homework Hints
• Take note as to what your children are studying in school. Try to schedule family field trips to coincide with academics.
• Encourage your children to do their homework with minimal parental help. This teaches self-sufficiency and
responsibility.
• Have your children explain their assignments to you. This will help boost their comprehension of the task.

Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah Announcements
Bar Mitzvah of Bronson Levine (January 8, 2022)
With great love and happiness, we announce the Bar Mitzvah of our son, Bronson Levine, on
January 8, 2022 at Temple Beth Am.
Bronson is a 7th grade student at The Benjamin School. Bronson enjoys spending time with
his family and friends. Some activities he enjoys include playing basketball for Palm Beach
Gardens, tennis, video games, magic tricks, traveling, and learning about Japanese culture.
Bronson spends his summers in Lake Beach, Pennsylvania at Trail’s End Camp where he has
been a camper for several years.
A special thank you to Rabbi Alon Levkovitz and Cantorial Soloist Marcy Morris for their guidance and instruction,
which have made Bronson’s spiritual journey so special.
Jonathan & Kimberly Levine
Bat Mitzvah of Brittney Friedman (January 15, 2022)
With much love and joy, we announce the Bat Mitzvah of Brittney Madison Friedman on
January 15, 2022 at Temple Beth Am.
Brittney is a 7th grade honor student at The Benjamin School. She loves her studies and enjoys
being a part of the dance program and the middle school lacrosse team. Brittney spends most
of her free time playing competitive travel lacrosse with her nationally ranked MadSkillz team
as an attacker. She also loves boating, the beach, shopping, and spending time with her friends,
her family, and her dog, Bear. Most importantly, Brittney’s smile lights up a room as she brings
joy to everyone around her.
Brittney is a loving granddaughter, daughter, sister, and loyal friend to everyone she meets. We are so proud of the young
lady she continues to become.
We are very grateful to the teachers and staff at Temple Beth Am, and to Rabbi Alon Levkovitz and Cantorial Soloist
Marcy Morris for all their hard work in helping Brittney prepare for her special day. Temple Beth Am has been a part of
Brittney’s life since birth and we are so thrilled to share her special day with everyone.

Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah Announcements
Bar Mitzvah of Ryan Rosenkranz (January 22, 2022)
With much joy, we announce that our son, Ryan Gabriel Rosenkranz, will be called to the
Torah on January 22, 2022 at Temple Beth Am to become a Bar Mitzvah. He is honored and
excited to chant the same Torah portion that was chanted in past years for their B’nei Mitzvah
by his brother Alexander and also by his cousins Jerry and Becca.
Ryan is a 7th grade student at Watson B. Duncan Middle School, enrolled in their Art
Academy. His passion is for drawing, but he has also created beautiful paintings that decorate
the walls in our home, his brother Samuel’s room at college, and in his grandparents’ homes.
We thank everyone at Temple Beth Am for their guidance and support and share our appreciation particularly with
Cantorial Soloist Marcy Morris and to Rabbi Alon Levkovitz for their care and consideration in preparing Ryan for this
special day.
With great pride and love,
Laura & Howard Rosenkranz
Bar Mitzvah of Jaden Meinbach (January 22, 2022)
With great pride, our son Jaden Avi Meinbach will become a Bar Mitzvah on January 22, 2022
at Temple Beth Am. He’s in the finance choice academy at Duncan Middle School.
Jaden is all about hanging with his buddies, many of whom he met here at The One School
at Temple Beth Am! He is very athletic, loves the Florida Gators, playing flag football, tag, or
anything else that keeps him in action. During the pandemic, he began playing tennis five days
a week. He played with PBG Tennis and recently switched to BallenIsles.
For Jaden’s Bar Mitzvah Project, he invited his religious school class to join him in planting
daffodils in the Temple garden as part of The Daffodil Project’s mission to plan 1.5 million daffodils throughout the
world to honor the children that didn’t have the chance to live.
Jaden is wise beyond his years, thoughtful, intelligent, and an incredible big brother to his sister Jenna.
Thank you to Rabbi Alon Levkovitz, Cantorial Soloist Marcy Morris, and Ms. Ronit Meirom and all the other teachers
and tutors through the years who have guided and prepared Jaden for this incredible milestone.

How can you honor your deceased loved one?
By placing your loved one’s name on the Memorial Board in the Memorial Hallway
entering the Sanctuary. When you do this, a light on their plaque will be lit on their Yahrzeit
(anniversary of their death) and their name will be included in the Shabbat announcements.
Their light will also be lit on Yom Kippur and their name will always be included in the Yizkor Book
during the High Holy Days. Even when you are gone, your loved one will not be forgotten.
Plaques are $500. Call the Temple at 561.747.1109 to place your order.
