NEEDLECRAFT

Entries will be received on Friday, August 21, 2015
from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturday August 22,
2015 from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM. All entries must
be in place by 11:00 AM on Saturday August 22, 2015.
Address labels would be helpful.
All entries must be removed between 1:00 PM and
2:30 PM on Sunday, August 30, 2015. Doors will be
closed at 3:00 PM.
The Family Living Building will be closed for judging on
Saturday afternoon. Crawford County Fair Association is
not responsible for items not picked up. Any unclaimed
entries will be disposed of if not claimed 30 days after
the fair.
Pre-registration is an option. Entry forms with each
Department on a separate form, can be sent to the
Crawford County Fair office by July 30, 2015.
Youth entries, anyone 5 to 19 years of age, will be
accepted in each section in this department, under
Department 52. Youth for Section 3 will be broken
down: 5 to 8 years; 9 to 12 years; and 13 to 18 years.
They will be judged separately, and awards given
respectively. All rules remain the same as adult
division.
All articles must be completed by the exhibitor since
the close of last year’s fair. Exhibits must be cleaned
and pressed. Articles stained, soiled, unsanitary or
showing signs of wear are unacceptable. Such items
will be disqualified from competition and will not be
displayed. No items will be displayed in pastic bags.
Each exhibit will be judged on workmanship, worth of
article, appropriateness of material, trimmings, quality,
method of construction and execution of stitches,
whether machined or hand stitched.
Exhibitors should not bring any items which do not come
under a Class listed in the premium list.

difficulty of pattern, and use of color. They are NOT being
