Zaporizhzhia State Medical University

Annually all the students irrespective of their health have compulsory
preventive medical check-ups and X-ray examinations at the Center for
Medical Rehabilitation and Prevention, located on the campus.

Emergency medical care is provided to foreign students in the 24/7
Municipal Institution City Clinical Hospital No.6 and Municipal Institution
City Clinical Hospital of Accident and Emergency Help that are located
nearby.

The University's student hostels accommodate about 3,000 students; three
of the hostels are for foreign citizens. The University Administration creates
the most favorable conditions for study, accommodation, physical and
cultural development of foreign students. To improve the quality of training
of international students, all the hostels have reading rooms and computer
classes. They are also connected to modern high-speed Internet. There
are Wi-Fi access points at the territory of the University, equipped with 50
powerful WI-FI routers, providing free access to the Internet and work with
electronic resources.

The student campus is under the surveillance of the University security
round-the-clock; the campus and the hostels are equipped with the
means of video control.

Different clubs of amateur activities are organized there for those who like
to play musical instruments, sing and dance. Annually a lot of festivals and
concerts are held at the University.

The University has good sport facilities. There is a unique sport complex with
4 sport halls, football pitch with artificial covering, area with fitness equip-
ment outdoors, tennis courts, chess and draught club, fitness club. Not far
from the academic buildings and student hostels are a stadium with track
and field sectors, a football pitch, sports grounds for handball, volleyball
and basketball. There are sections of various sport; student’s matches and
sport competitions take place regularly at the University.
