Explain any particular career that you are interested in besides your career now
Since we grew up, everyone had their own interest in every single career. I am interested to
be a nurse if I’m not a teacher because I was always fascinated by the amount of respect that
nurses received during my doctor visits throughout my childhood. I like the profession as a
nurse because Nurses usually have a nurturing heart that helps patients. Nurses also help to
educate many patients on different health topics that may help them feel better. I was attracted
so much to their full white uniform during those days. Their attire looked decent which
represents their noble job. A job as a nurse ranges from who takes care of the patient and
also provides the patient with every medicine on time. They also clean people's wounds and
helps them in every way. Based on research by (Mohd Uzir 2021) stated that in December
2020, employed persons edged up month-on-month by 0.1 percent or equivalent to 19.3
thousand persons to record 15.22 million persons after registering a decrease in the previous
month.

The first thing is a noble profession which is to care for patients. Nurses spend more
time with patients than any other medical professionals. They spend close to twice as long
with patients as personal visitors. Various motives lead them to choose this career. For
example, One of them is that nurses love to care for patients who have cancer. Nurses not
only provide treatment but additionally to support this individual, share with the patient, and
assist his or her relatives to get over the depressing thought about destiny. These patients
need medical treatment yet moral and emotional support as well. They should have been in a
circle where they can stay positive and make their life special. Cancer patients are often
considered bold pale person who is dying. However, in most cases, those who fight cancer
are strong morally. Then, nurses are highly respected within the community and are trusted
with the lives of others. The general public considers them moral, ethical, and caring. Nurses
must apply these attributes to their work to maintain relationships with colleagues and patients.
Nurses have to be sensitive and responsive when caring for the patient and this is valued by

the patient rather than caring in the professional sense of giving competent treatment (White
2002). A career in nursing is also seen as stable in many parts of the world and is, therefore,
an esteemed profession

Apart from that, Nurses play an important
role in the healthcare system and they are
often the first line of defense for patients.
Usually, a nurse is someone who is
passionate about making a difference in the
lives of others, and being a nurse is the best
way to do that. They also have the
characteristics of team workers and really
like to work in a team because they as
humans cannot be perfect in terms of skills and abilities. In life, we definitely need someone
to complete our shortcomings and deficiencies in performing our duties as a nurse. I believe
a career as a nurse will satisfactorily achieve our country's desire that all Malaysians must be
healthy and fit. Besides nursing is a challenging profession, this career is also very rewarding.
I believe that nurses make a huge impact on the world. By caring for people in need especially
when they are sick or worse, bedridden, if you want to be a caring nurse, you need to put
yourself as a patient and be fulfilled knowing that nurses will do something great for humanity
while also developing themselves. Nurses are always ready to help no matter what happens
terms emotionally and spiritually. Then, “why nurses are willing to work to take care of patients
in the hospital?” this is because all humans love to be healthy and wish that they are possible
to keep their fitness even when they get older. Professionals as nurses is a strong will have
the capability to guide patients in the correct way to keep their physical and mental as fit as a
fiddle. Health is wealth. How much savings in your account could not buy health, and people
will only realize the vital of health when they fall sick (Lucas 1991).

Last but not least, Nursing is the right place for those who are good with conversation
or interaction with others. This is because nurses spend most of their day interacting with
patients, nurses, and doctors. This type of work allows nurses to develop excellent
communication skills in sometimes stressful situations. In addition to speaking, nurses must
have good listening skills to care for patients and their needs. It is the interpersonal relationship
between the individuals in an organization and is also further subdivided into nurse-nurse
interaction and nurse-physician interaction(Stamps 1997). So, if the person has the criteria
above, they should apply as a nurse because nursing is a great option for a job centered
around people. Moreover, a career in nursing offers flexibility as work is often organized into

shifts rather than specific hours each week. This
means working different days throughout the
week. An advantage to shift work is that they can
put all their effort into a few days while then
enjoying the following days off. Some people
prefer the routine of a nine-to-five job, but this
doesn’t suit everyone. Nurses working in hospitals
are usually required to work long shifts including
unsocial hours, but community nursing and clinics
are now offering more regular hours. Adult nurses tend to work 35 to 40 hours per week,
depending on the country.

In conclusion to care for patients. Then, Nurses play an important role in the healthcare
system and they are often the first line of defense for patients. At last, Nursing is the right
place for those who are good with conversation or interaction with others. My recommendation
in this section is that our country needs to take many more students who take in the field of
nursing to reduce the number of patients in Malaysia also service to humanity will be rewarded
by Allah because as Muslims we must show concern and love for our fellow human beings to
all other creatures in this world. I really have great expectations that this world will be inhabited
by healthy, fit, and energetic people. Not only healthy physically but also mentally and
spiritually.
