They will keep your damaged rod and give you a new, same model rod in return. No questions asked, no shipping, no waiting or wondering about warranty claim charges. This replacement is dependent on the dealer having inventory of your damaged rod model and their willingness to participate in this program. No Hassle Replacement Policy – Through Dobyns Rods Don't have a local Dobyns Rods retailer? You can use the No Hassle Replacement Policy through Dobyns Rods. To save on shipping your broken rod to us, simply cut out the 6 inch logo section (example pictured) of your rod and send it to us in a PADDED ENVELOPE with the appropriate replacement fee and return shipping. Replacement Policy For damages determined to be from accident, normal wear and tear, or neglect, Dobyns Rods offers a No Hassle repair and replacement policy. In the event a rod is broken, the rod owner must pay the replacement fee in order to receive a replacement rod. If we no longer offer the exact model, we will replace it with the closest comparable model from our current product line. Any Dobyns Rods can be upgraded to a model of your choosing, whether broken or not. Upgrade a Broken Rod to a Rod in a Different Series You will receive a credit to use towards an upgraded model equal to the retail price of your current model less the replacement fee for that model. Dobyns will repair or replace your reel if a defect is found in workmanship or materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty is limited to the original owner. If the damage is found to not be a defect in workmanship or material (missing parts, misuse either accidental or intentional, improper care or normal wear and tear), you will be contacted with a quote for the repair/replacement before repairs are started.
