After Maleficent, Cruella is arguably the next
Disney film that takes the point of view of a villain or
antagonist. For the uninitiated, Cruella De Vill is the
antagonist in the 101 Dalmatians franchise. The film is a
comedy crime adventure film that revolves around the hunt
for polka dot-skinned dogs.

In the film 101 Dalmatians (1996) and its sequel
102 Dalmations (2000), Cruella De Vill is portrayed as an
ambitious and evil woman. Because of her love for animal
skin fashion, Cruella does not hesitate to ask her men to hunt
animals including Dalmatians for clothing.

Synopsis

After 25 years have passed, Cruella De Vill is back with
another side of herself through the slick role played by Emma Stone.
In this Cruella film, you will be transported back to the 1970s and
1960s which became the background of his hatred and obsession
with polka-dotted dogs.

It is said that Cruella who was born
with the name Estella and natural hair half black
and half white is an eccentric, energetic girl, with
a high rebellious spirit. He also grew into Cruella,
the eccentric designer with all his crazy and
unique ideas that successfully attracted the
attention of the general public.

Little Estella (Tipper Selfert-Cleveland) is raised by a single mother named
Catherine (Emily Beecham). His appearance that is different from most children and his
overly direct nature often invites problems. After going through an elementary school
period filled with various incidents, the mother finally took Estella away from her
hometown to London in hopes of a better life.

Unfortunately, a tragic event involving three Dalmatian
dogs actually claimed the life of the mother before they reached their
destination. It also left a deep grudge in Estella.

Together with her beloved dog, Estella arrives in London and meets
Jasper (Joel Fry) and Horace (Paul Walter Hauser), two orphans who teach Estella
how to survive on the streets. The three of them make a living from pickpocketing
and stealing with the help of two cute and adorable dogs until Estella has the
opportunity to pursue her dream of becoming a designer.

After experiencing various annoying but
hilarious events, Estella ends up working for a
famous designer, Baroness von Hellman (Emma
Thompson). The woman who claims to be the best
designer has a fairly high level of narcissism and is
cruel to her subordinates. An adventure full of
revenge, ambition and obsession finally begins after
Estella's encounter with the Baroness.

The Advantages and Disadvantages Of Cruella Films

Movie Advantages
This film is good for young people to watch because there are

many inspiring moral messages such as teaching creativity, self-
confidence, hard work, taking risks, appreciating the work of others,
and teaching the meaning of family and friendship.

Movie Disadvantages
Besides that there are many moral messages that we can

take from this film, this film also has many shortcomings, namely
many bad things that we should not imitate such as stealing, killing,
making trouble, etc.
