WORD STRESS
Word stress is how stresses are distributed on the
syllables of a word
Word stress is how stresses are distributed on the
syllables of a word
STRESS
An English word of two or more syllables must contain
at least one stressed syllable.
The strongest or the loudest stress will be marked by
the superscript symbol ˈ placed in front of the
primary stressed syllable.
