UniKL is ranked for the first time at 1,000+ in the Times Higher Education
(THE) World University Ranking 2021 (from 1,527 ranked universities

worldwide). The 2021 ranking put UniKL in the tied 10th place among Top 15
universities in Malaysia.

UNiKL MFI Lecturer Becomes WSC Chief
Expert 2021

Two of UniKL Malaysia France Institute (UniKL MFI) lecturers namely Encik Mohd Zaki Mohamed
and Puan Junita Mohd Said were appointed as Chief Experts at the WorldSkills Competitions
2021 Shanghai, China (WSC Shanghai) in the field of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and

Mechanical Engineering Design (CAD). Both were selected as Chief Experts at WorldSkills Asean
Singapore 2021 (WSASEAN Singapore). On top of that, another two of UniKL MFI lecturers, Ts.

Mohamad Maarof Bahurdin and Encik Zahurin Othman were selected as National Trainees at the
same event. Earlier, Puan Junita was also selected as a member of the Working Committee for

the preparation of competition questions for Virtual Skills Youth Competition 2020 at CIAST, Shah
Alam, Selangor and WorldSkills Malaysia 2021 -Instructors and Youth 2021 (WSMP & WSMB). Also

appointed was Encik Taha Mohamed from Industrial
Automation Section, UniKL MFI.
