The Integral Family Development System (DIF), has
the mission to establish priorities in the services
for the most vulnerable persons, granting in an
efficient and modern manner high quality services
in our assistance centers with the end to prevent
and protect the families of Nuevo Laredo.
In addition there are programs oriented to the
development of the family, inclusion of disabled
persons, boys, girls and teens’ rights, as well as the
constant support to the elderly.
Children are the future of Nuevo Laredo, therefore
in the DIF System we have at our care newborns
and young children.
We contribute to the children’s education in the
different daycare where some of them work as Mrs. Adriana Herrera de Rivas
preschool education centers. We have the only President of Municipal DIF System 2016-2018
special daycare for disabled kids in the State of
Tamaulipas.
In the shelters of Mi Casa DIF and Semillas
de Amor live the minors that are under our
protection and protection, granting them all the
attentions and services 24 hours a day.

At the PANNARTI center we help young people to
get off the street, providing them studies, food,
and recreational activities for a better life. We also
provide to underage migrants, all the necessary
attentions through the CAMEF, to be later
transferred to their place of origin by land or air.
The CEDIF are there to support the women, those
are training centers so they can start their own
business and generate an additional income to
their family.
The headquarters has a Medical Area, which has
extended its services to different sectors of the
city with dispensaries and medical brigades to
benefit families from different sectors of the city.
The DIF provides help, protection and care to the
elderly, there are centers such as Villas Vida Plena,
Casa Club and Estancia Diurna, making several
activities with the mean to live together and have
a pleasant time.
In the nursing home people are assisted 24/7.
The Integral Rehabilitation Center (CRI-DIF)
Integral Family Development System of attends every citizen with disabilities; likewise
Nuevo Laredo they have a prosthetic workshop, where they
