The relationship of education to migration policy in Australia

You should undertake study in a field in which you intend to work once you
graduate. You are strongly advised not to undertake studies in Australia with the
sole purpose of obtaining a migration outcome. The student visa process is an
entirely separate process to skilled migration and there is no guarantee that you
will be eligible for skilled migration purely on the basis of having undertaken a
course related to an occupation on the Skilled Occupations List (SOL).

The SOL is a list of skilled occupations that are in need in Australia comprising of
four major groups: managers and administrators; professionals; associate
professionals; and tradespersons and related workers.

The SOL can, and does, change in light of labour market needs in Australia. There
is no guarantee that an occupation listed on the SOL at the time you begin your
studies will still be on the SOL when you graduate.

The Australian Government wants a targeted, high-value, demand-driven, skilled
migration program that is responsive to the needs of the Australian labour market.
As these needs change rapidly, the skilled migration program will be adjusted
accordingly. Read more about Australia’s migration policy at www.immi.gov.au

We can help you to find and enrol in a course of study of your choice.

another: immersing yourself totally in another culture and getting to know a

Moderate climate, a regionally diverse cuisine (though not exactly renowned for
its sophistication), a varied landscape with coasts and mountains, any number of
famous historic and natural monuments...All of that, and lots more, is "typically
German". Many Germans like to spend their holidays in their own country due to
these, and other, attractions. At the same time, the number of international
overnight stays in Germany reached almost 55 million in 2009 according to the
German Central Office for Tourism. People from all over the world grace
Germany with their presence time and time again. We Germans think that is
fantastic.

You’ve been contemplating coming to Germany? Then we will help you to make
a decision. We, the International Placement Services (ZAV), are the contact
partner within the German Federal Employment Agency for the international
labour market and help German companies recruit foreign workers.

Whether you need a work permit in Germany and whether the work permit
can be issued to you, you will find out with the migration check.

On this website you will find lots of information on living and working in
Germany and the services we provide.

Italy has played an important role in European higher education: it is one of
the four countries that first engaged to create the so-called "European Area of
Higher Education" (Sorbonne Declaration, May 1998), thus starting that type of
higher education reform which, known as "Bologna Process" (Bologna
Declaration, June 1999) is being implemented all over Europe.

Today Italy ranks among the 8 most industrialised countries in the world.
Alongside some big companies, both state-owned and private, it has developed
a sound network of small and medium-sized undertakings, promoted a few
scientific parks, and is incentivating basic and applied research in a great variety
of fields (biology, ICT, medicine, physics, etc.).

Fees and Costs are almost like Free

The average fees a student has to pay is somewhere between 850 euro and
1,500 euro per year since this varies from one university to another and
also depends on the chosen course of study.

Admission to “master universitari” and other specialisation courses also have
much higher fees. Doctoral students who receive a grant from the university do
not pay fees, but non- grant holders are required to pay the fees, which will vary
again according to the university chosen.

There are many opportunities for study, apprenticeship and even work in Italy as
a student you can work part-time also.

which exudes flavours of the culture, diversity, and history of Singapore. English
is an official language in Singapore but Mandarin is also widely spoken, which is
an attraction for many students.

International students are generally not allowed to engage in any form of
employment, whether paid or unpaid, or in any business, profession or

have the consent in writing from the Controller of Immigration. Violators will
be prosecuted by law.

The exceptions are for full-time undergraduates of Polytechnics and Universities

term. However, they need to obtain permission from the Student's
Liaison/Affairs Office of their respective Polytechnics and Universities. During
their vacations, they are allowed to work full-time as the Ministry of Manpower
has exempted them from applying for work permits.

In addition, foreign students who are full-time matriculated or registered

17: Study in Sweden

It is a big step to study abroad, and the options are almost limitless. So what
makes Sweden stand out as a study destination?

Standards are high

Sweden has a long and proud history of academic excellence, with outstanding
universities dating back to the 15th century. Sweden is the home of the Nobel

Prize, the world’s most prestigious academic distinction.

Today, Sweden’s reputation for innovation is built on close cooperation between
industry and academia. Swedish universities are renowned for their investigative
research and independent thinking, and this reputation is cemented with
rigorous quality control and nationally certified degrees. Sweden has one of the
most ambitious educational evaluation programs in Europe, aimed at
maintaining this competitive edge.

Choice

Swedish universities offer around 500 master’s programs in English, ranging
from human rights law to mechanical engineering. Programs are structured in
response to student demand — the result is a student-centric education
system, with open, informal relations between students and teachers, and
where personal initiative and critical thought are prized.

English is spoken by all

Almost all Swedes speak fluent English. Many Swedish companies use English as
their official working language. Foreign students find that this prevalence of
English makes adapting to their new surroundings much easier.

Tuition and application fees

he fees apply only to bachelor’s and master’s programs and courses, while PhD
programs are tuition-free. Universities set their own fees, and these vary
between SEK 80,000–140,000 per academic year for most subjects. However,
programs in the fields of medicine and art have notably higher fees. The fee for
application to Swedish universities and colleges for fee paying students has
been set to SEK 900.
