Make Yourself At Home

Spend time in Saranac Lake and you may never
want to leave. The crisp mountain air will
energize you whether it is summer or winter.

Saranac Lake is vibrant, active, and steeped in history.
For years visitors have been coming to our town to
heal, explore, and learn and we invite you to do the
same. You’ll find a community of helpful, hardworking
individuals who love the area and the small-town
atmosphere. Visitors often return for many years or
decide to stay and make Saranac Lake their home.

You might choose to have an outdoor adventure, or visit one
of our nearby museums or art galleries, or pamper yourself
with a massage and a good meal. Better yet, why not do it all?
We are sure you will enjoy the mountain hospitality and the
decidedly different Saranac Lake. We are your destination.

BELVEDERE RESTAURANT

The Belvedere Restaurant is one of the oldest and continuously operating
restaurants in the Adirondack Park, ably run by the Cavallo family since 1933.
During this time, multiple generations of loyal customers have made history
here, molding the Belvedere’s reputation as a true local gem. As the new owner,
John Levy is grateful to all the staff and customers who have supported this
transition and honored to have the opportunity to continue this legacy. Whether
you come by car, foot, or the multiuse Adirondack rail trail directly adjacent to
the property, John welcomes you to join him in this new chapter. The Belvedere
continues to offer authentic Italian cuisine with the love and care that built the
Belvedere over nearly a century, while also expanding the menu with new items.
