MANAGEMENT

Health and safety risk management is a process where we do what we can to minimise the
risks associated with health and safety hazards at our workplace. The aim is to ensure that no
one is injured or hurt by a hazard at work.

The hotel has several procedures that detail how risk management is to be undertaken for
specific activities involving risk. These include undertaking high risk curriculum activities, using
hazardous chemicals, and doing hazardous manual tasks. Our ladies & Gentlemen have been
training in several training programs such as (Great Food, Safe Food, ECOLAB, CPR & First Aid
Training). Therefore, 14 sessions were performed in 1,292 hours

IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY ARE

understanding of First Aid awareness and to

Having a First Aid training help save lives, but it

HABIT FORMATION: THE 21-DAY MYTH

The 21 Day Habit Theory was first
introduced by Maxwell Maltz, a plastic
surgeon in the 1950s. He discovered
that a patient who had, for example a
face operation, would need 21 days to
get used to seeing their new face. As

interaction.

Payroll training has been conducted
for our payroll champions. The

on how to use driving etiquette to

Luxury Quality Workshop was held in Abudhab
Edition on 18th to 20th October. It was a
dream of Mr. Sandeep Walia to gather all
quality leaders in EMEA. The main purpose of
the workshop was to learn more about quality
tools and discuss on how we can improve our
quality standard in all hotels as well as sharing
ideas from different properties on what they're
doing daily to improve their scores.

Every successful year is a wonderful accomplishment, and all the hard work we have all
put into during these difficult times will undoubtedly prepare us for another successful
year ahead.
2022 was a magnificent year despite all the challenges and obstacles. Together, we have
achieved several programs. I am extremely proud of all the great achievements we have
built and achieved together in the Learning and Development, being able to achieve more
than 708 programs in nearly 12,779 hours.
As 2022 ends, people are gearing up to make new promises and beginnings for 2023. It is
time to make new year resolutions that will help you achieve your goals. The beginning of
every year holds a lot of positivity and good energy and vibes. Our goal in 2023 is to
continue to inspire, motivate, encourage, and provide different life skill strategies for our
Ladies & Gentlemen to learn from.
Finally, I want our valued L&G's to know that the road to success is not easy, but with hard
work, dedication and the right people in your corner, anything is possible!
