RE-LIVING AND REVIVING - TNOA NEWS OFFICIAL NEWSLETTER OF TNOA
From the Secretary’s Desk Dear Colleagues, Greetings from TNOA. Communication is the key to success. The first year of my tenure as secretary I had focused on communication. We have established an exclusive WhatsApp channel to enable instant connect with our members addition to regular mailers regarding the activities of the association and the annual conference. However only close to 3000 of our 3800 plus members are in the loop through these channels. So, the next step in streamlining this process with be to curate the member list and update the contact details. Starting this week members will receive link where they can log in with their registered email ID and OTP and update their credentials on the TNOA database. I have reached out to all the district affiliate societies in this regard and the response is overwhelming. This will enable a more effective and complete connect with all our members. This will also augment the “Go Green” concept wherein most communications would be sent by emails and WhatsApp messages. With the managing council revived, all the district affiliate societies are also now connected and involved in the activities of the TNOA. However not all members of the TNOA are part of their respective district affiliate societies and vice versa. I would urge every such member to be not only involved in the local district society activities but also to the District Society to reach out to its members to become a member of the TNOA. In this way the association can be strengthened at the grass roots level. Apart from this we are surging ahead in all fronts be it our ARC activities and the routine TNOA-Thursday-Webinars. Looking forward to your cooperation in ensuring a successful a fruitful year. Dr. Sriram Gopal Hon Secretary TNOA
