Synopsis : In June the wheat tips are begin- She gives all of her money to her fam-

filthy and chaotic side street in Beijing’s east- The film revolves around the time of
ern suburbs called GaoXiDian. In a nameless, the harvest, documenting one person’s dual
unlit ‘beauty parlor’, this country girl of barely lives and struggles, how one person copes on
20 years old shows us a corner of her life as her own in the face of everything. Here we see
a prostitute. the complex depths of human nature.
