Remainder Is A Pizza Cake

Three friends are hungry for pizza.

They decide to order a large pizza cut into 8 equal pieces.

The three friends find a table with 4 chairs.

As the server brings the friends the pizza, he points out the extra chair.

There is three of you
which means there is one
extra chair

He asks if another friend is coming, because there is a remainder of 1 chair.

Now knowing what a remainder is, they divide the pizza slices equally.

Each person gets two slices of pizza. But, without a fourth person, they have 2
slices leftover.

As they get home, they decide to give the remainder of 2 to their fourth friend, and
Pineapple, their dog.
