According to the compass, the tower should be that way! And if we use some trigonometry, we can figure out how far away it is Okay now that we have our bearings, the trail should be South-East from here. 2
...Alex and Sam immidiately dashed to the direction of the tower using their calculation... There it is! Our calculations were right! cos 30° = 50/h h = 50/cos30° h = 57.74 m 3

Wow, this thing is massive! i wonder how tall it actually is. Actually, we can find out how tall it is. All we need is some basic trigonomoetry. Got it! We’re done yay! Let me crunch these numbers... tan 40° = OP/50 OP = 50 tan 40° OP = 41.95 h = OP + t = 41.95 + 1.78 = 43.73 m 5
