Wireless Headset

Thank you for choosing the Mixcder Basso wireless headset.
Please read this user manual carefully, retain it properly for
future reference, and follow the important safety instructions.

Safety

Observe the following precautions and instructions:
1. Please properly control the volume and usage duration of
the headset.
2. If the environment poses potential danger, please stop
using the headset temporarily in order to ensure personal
safety.
3. Avoid raising the volume of the headset at high volume, or
you may not hear the sound of surrounding. If you experience
ringing in your ears or increasingly loud sound, please turn
down the volume to a safe level.
4. Avoid using the headset to listen to music, to dial or receive
calls while driving. Such act may divert your attention and
result in a dangerous situation.
5. Please keep the headset out of the reach of little children to
avoid any danger due to improper use by the children.
6. Avoid the headset being soaked or washed in liquid while
cleaning thus to prevent the sound quality of the headset from
being damaged.
7. Stop using the headset immediately if you experience
discomfort or if you feel irritated or have unfavorable reactions.
8. Avoid to store or use the headset in the environment with
temperature of lower than -15 5 °F or higher than
55 131°F or the service life of the headset or battery
may be shortened.

1.Charging the headset

Attention: Fully charge the headset before using the headset
for the first time.

Use the charging cable of the accessories provided to charge
the headset. Using any charging cable other than those
provided by the original manufacturer may damage the headset.

1) Plug the interface of the shorter end of USB charging
cable into the Micro-USB interface of the headset cable.
2) Next, plug the other end of USB charging cable into the
computer or other power charging plug and make sure the
headset begins charging.

Charging indicator

According to the display of the charging indicator, when the
battery is charging, its indicator lights up red. The charging
indictor turns and stays blue when the battery is fully charged.

4.Steps for initial pairing

1) Please maintain the distance between the Bluetooth headset
and the mobile phone (or other device for connection) within 1
meter, i.e. the closer the better.
2) Press and hold the “Multi-function” button for 8-10 seconds
until a “pairing” sound is heard, or the Bluetooth indicator
flashes red and blue alternately.
3) In the “Setting” function of your mobile phone, make sure
that “Bluetooth” is enabled. (Bluetooth menu usually can be
found in “Setting” of the mobile phone.)
4) In the list of search output, select “Mixcder Basso” and the
“Pairing successful, connected” announcement is heard.
Or, you will see the indicator flashes blue once every 5 seconds.

Attention: Please refer to the user manual of your mobile
phone for how to pair with other devices.

5.Reconnecting with previously paired devices

Prior to the connection, Mixcder Basso must have been paired
with the devices previously.
When the power is ON, Mixcder Basso will automatically connect
to the device that has been previously paired with.

6.Pairing with PC Bluetooth

Advanced operation
Attention: Prior to pairing with the headset, please be sure that
your PC or laptop is equipped with Bluetooth functions. If there is
no Bluetooth function installed in the PC, you need to purchase a
Bluetooth adapter of Bluetooth version 2.1 or above.

1) Make sure the headset is in OFF mode;
2) Start the PC Bluetooth icon to set device search;
3) Make sure the distance between the headset and the PC to be
within 1 meter;
4) Press and hold the “Multi-function” button for about 8-10

seconds until the indicator flashes red and blue alternately,
indicating that the system is in pair mode, and a “pairing” sound is
heard.
5) Among the devices searched by the PC, there is “Mixcder
Basso”; select “Mixcder Basso” for pairing.
6) If your PC asks for “PIN code”, please enter “0000 (4 zero)”.
Once pairing succeeds, the indicator flashes blue once every 5
seconds and the “Pairing successful, connected” announcement
is heard.

7. Control instructions

Function Button operation

Power on Press and hold the “Multi-function” button for about
3-5 seconds until the indicator flashes blue and a
“power on” sound is heard.

Power off Press and hold the “Multi-function” button for about
3-5 seconds until the indicator flashes red and a
“power off” sound is heard.

Standby mode In a standby mode, when the battery is fully charged,
the indicator flashes blue. When the remaining battery
level is low, the indicator flashes red.

While the battery is charging, the indicator lights up red.
Charging mode When the battery is fully charged, the indicator turns

blue.

Answer or hang Press the multi-function button once to answer the
up incoming calls incoming call; press once again to hang up the call.

Back/Next Press and hold the “+” / “-” button.

Pause/Play While the music is playing, press the multi-function button
once to pause; press once again to continue.

Volume control Press the “+” / “-” button once.

Redial last Press and hold the multi-function button twice.

Reject incoming When there is an incoming call, short press the
calls multi-function button twice.

Trouble Shooting:
Q1. Why can’t I power on the earphone?
A1.1. The earphone may have run out of the battery power.
Please charge the battery using the charging cable.
Q2. Why can’t I connect the earphone to my Bluetooth
device?
A2.1. The Bluetooth function on your device may have been
turned off. Please turn on the Bluetooth function on your device
and allow it to search for compatible devices.
A2.2. The earphone may have been connected to another
device.
Please disconnect (unpair) the earphone from the previous
device before connecting them to a new one.
A2.3. The earphone may not have been recognized by your
device.
Please turn off the earphone, turn them back on, search for the
earphone on your Bluetooth enabled device, and make the

connection again.
A2.4. The earphones may be too far away from your Bluetooth
device. Please make sure that the earphones are close enough
to your device, and there is no obstacle between them.
Q3. Why aren’t the earphones playing sound tracks in
the Bluetooth mode?
A3.1. The earphones may not have been selected as the output
device.
Please adjust the settings on your Bluetooth enabled device to
use the earphones to play the sound tracks.
A3.2. The volume may have been adjusted to the minimum.
Please press to increase the volume.
Q4. Why is the sound quality very poor in the Bluetooth
mode?
A4.1. The Bluetooth connection may not be in its optional
condition. Please make sure that the earphones are close
enough to your device, and there is no obstacle between them.”
