Dr. Sarvesh Naidu From the School Director's Desk
"How does one measure success of a Pathwaysian" - an often asked question!
By individual achievement in School?
Through the IB Results alone?
Through lifelong learing? or
Through success stories of Alumni?
The best answer, perhaps is through the ideal combination of all of the above.
True success is not a one-off job but a lifelong striving in areas well beyond our normal
realms of achievements. It is a sustained journey!
Welcome to the first edition of our Monthly Newsletter - a new concept to capture the
myriad of journeys Pathwaysians undergo - a truly heart-warming journal.
From the next edition onward, we hope to capture the views and successes of Staff and
Parents too! After all, isn't that what a true family is?

Students of Grade 11 and 12 visited Mumbai to gain a first hand experience on some aspects of the financial hub of the

SMARTALK
“Vision without Action is merely a Dream, Action without Vision just passes the time, Vision with Action can change
the world,” how appropriately quoted by Joel A. Barker.
In conformity with this thought, Pathways Primary School conducted an Event on 23rd November 2018, which
fostered a sense of awareness in our students and provoked conversations that matter. Bright minds got together to
give talks on idea-focused topics such as Think Again; The Essence of the Changing World; Good to Great; Gifts of
Words, and present their thought-provoking perspectives in front of a fervent audience. The Auditorium buzzed with
excitement, exhilaration and anticipation when 6 of our Students and 4 Parents presented their talk on the topics
chosen with an aim to stimulate every mind present. Each of the ‘Smartalkers’ exuded confidence, conviction and
commitment to change the way we look at things. Intermittent panel discussions gave an opportunity for everyone in
the audience to participate and share their thoughts and ideas on questions that were not only open-ended but
nurtured perspective thinking.
"The whirlwind of exciting Events and opportunities were all spiced with an assortment of flavours for the students and teachers
to experiment with fresh ideas and thoughts and to contribute vigorously to initiatives. The varied experiences facilitated or
planned are designed to help the students to thrust their capacities and steer their thinking to creative pathways. We have
observed a tremendous growth in our students abilities in different spheres through their contributions/ participation in the
experiences and we are eager to ensure that we continue to move forward together as a community to grow in our aptitudes and
to support and complement each other in the best possible manner.
