EAGLECREST RETIREMENT COMMUNITY MIXED MEDIA Residents at Eaglecrest Retirement Community love to share their talent. Give them silk flowers, beads, feathers, and it’s amazing what they can create. With simple materials and printed silhouettes, they were asked to “make beautiful dresses.” Soon laughter and giggles filled the room, along with comments like “oh, how cute” or “that’s amazing.” They found they do not need to be professional artists to create amazing designs. They had imagination, inspiration, and determination to achieve success. Creating art is a small part of living at Eaglecrest. Being together, sharing, attending outings, learning new skills and having fun is an important benefit of living at Eaglecrest. “Eaglecrest, where strangers become friends, and friends become family.” Quotes from a couple of residents: “I love Eaglecrest, they keep us busy and young.” Edie “What I love about Eaglecrest is they have different activities to suit everyone’s needs. You can attend as many activities as you like or stay in your apartment and just relax. I choose to attend.” Lucerne

There is a $5 per ticket service fee for exchanged tickets, up to $20. If you are not able to use your tickets for a production and are unable to find an exchange date, please pass them along to someone who can attend. There are no refunds on unused tickets or unused portions of season subscriptions. All tickets reserved over the internet are final. No exchanges can be made. PERFORMANCE ETIQUETTE In consideration of our patrons and performers, cell phones and pagers must be turned off or set to vibrate only during performances. If desired, you may check them at the Box Office prior to curtain time. Photography (with or without flash) and recording devices of any kind (audio or video) are not to be used during performances. SCRIPTS Scripts for Mainstage productions are available for check-out in the Box Office. A $10 deposit is required and scripts should be returned within three days. Scripts cannot be checked out within five days of audition dates.
THEATRE SALINA PRIOR TO THE PERFORMANCE 1. Purchase your tickets a week or more in advance for best choice of performance date and seating. We often sell out, so tickets at the door may be limited or not available. 2. Arrive 15-30 minutes ahead of curtain time to avoid the rush and for better parking availability. 3. Use one of our conveniently located bathrooms in either the lobby or inside the Kephart Theatre. 4. Purchase a snack or drink from our concessions area, located in the lobby. The bar and concession stand are also open during intermission. 5. Turn your phone to silent and smart watch to “Theatre Mode”. 6. Read through and explore your Playbill to discover: • the actors, crew, and orchestra members involved in the production • musical numbers and setting(s) of the production • auditions for Theatre Salina and Center for Theatre Arts upcoming productions • Theatre Salina Guild information • what’s coming up next at Theatre Salina and CTA • all our many invaluable supporters 7. As some of our patrons arrive late, please stay in your assigned seat at least until intermission. If your current seat is unsatisfactory, please visit the box office for help. DURING THE PERFORMANCE 8. Video recording or taking pictures during any Theatre Salina or CTA performance is strictly prohibited. 9. Please refrain from using your phone or any other electronic devices in any way during the performance. This distracts other patrons, as well as the performers on stage. 10. Stage lights are usually sufficient to refer to the Playbill. If you must use your phone for illumination, do so during applause or at a scene break. 11. If you need to leave the theatre for any reason, please do so during applause or at a scene break, unless it is an emergency. When returning to your seat, please wait for applause or a scene break. 12. Theatre Salina welcomes children ages 5 and up (ages 3 and up for designated performances and CTA productions). We understand children become restless or upset at times. The Theatre Salina lobby is a quiet place to take your child when such an instance arises. If there’s anything we can do to make your experience more enjoyable, please drop by the Box Office and let us know. TIPS FOR A Superb Theatre Experience FROM YOUR BOX OFFICE MANAGER
