Actor Bios

Michael Freeland (William Gillette) was last seen on the SCT
stage in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder and Lost in
Yonkers. He is the owner of Mr. Freeland Design. He is married
to Kristina and they have three sons: Gabriel, Dominic, and
Oliver. “I am honored to take on the role of William Gillette and
work alongside this amazing cast and crew. Being a part of the
SCT family has been a wonderful experience. I dedicate this
performance to my mom, as she was always my number one
fan. I hope that she’s smiling down on me with pride.”

Pam Jones (Martha Gillette) was last seen in Calendar Girls,
Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka, and The Dixie Swim Club. She is a
retired drama consultant and shares her seamstress skills with
the SCT costume department. She is married to Bob and they
have seven children and two beautiful grandchildren, living
half a world away in Australia. Pam loves to read, sew, and
quilt. “As I’ve always said, I love when my costumes turn out
just right, it’s almost as good as being onstage – but not
quite. Glad to be in this show and please have fun with us!”

John P. Hendrick (Felix Geisel) directed Lost in Yonkers for SCT
and was last seen on the SCT stage in The Curious Incident of
the Dog in the Night-Time and Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville: A
Sherlock Holmes Mystery. He is self-employed and works for
Ottawa County. His girlfriend, Cathie Norris, helps keep track
of him and their shared household of seven kids and two
grandkids. “Have a wonderful evening and thank you for
giving us the opportunity to whisk you away for a while.”

Gin Hoffman (Madge Geisel) was last seen on the SCT stage in
A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder and Lost in Yonkers.
She has a public relations degree from Texas Tech University
and is a music theatre instructor for CTA at SCT. She is
married to Patrick and they have three children: Keira, Evan,
and Vivienne. “I love opera, mystery novels, military history,
cooking, hiking, and spending time with family. Thanks for the
continued support of the arts during these past several
months. I am so grateful for our community.”

Actor Bios

Nathaniel Endreshak (Simon Bright) is making his SCT
MainStage debut! He is a student at the University of Central
Missouri studying theatre performance. He has been seen in
CTA’s Stage II productions of Heathers, Spring Awakening,
and Bring It On: The Musical. His parents are Chris and Joy
Endreshak and two brothers, Noah and Josiah. “I work at
YaYa’s on Santa Fe in Salina and am proud to be making my
SCT MainStage debut.”

Elizabeth-Ali Schade (Aggie Wheeler) last appeared in Disney’s
Freaky Friday, Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express,
and 1776 at SCT. She is the production associate at SCT and
teaches in the music theatre department for CTA. She would like
to thank her husband, Erich, for the endless strength and
support. Together, they enjoy watching Oliver, their soon to be
3-year-old son, grow. Edgar Degas said, “Art is not what you see,
but what you make others see.” “Thank you for supporting the
arts and allowing us to share these amazing stories with you.”

Amanda Reynolds (Inspector Goring) is making her SCT
onstage debut! She has volunteered and been on the props
crew for Little Women and was the stage manager for Disney’s
Freaky Friday. She is married to Patrick and they have five
children: Rebekah, Atticus, Nathaniel, Samuel, and Charles.
She is an Army wife, stay-at-home mom, and homeschooling
teacher. “I love to read, cook, and bake in my spare time. I
would like to thank my family for all of their support and
encouragement during my involvement with this show!”

Dalana Dutton (Daria Crane) was last seen on the SCT stage
in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder and Rodgers and
Hammerstein’s Cinderella and KWU’s The Dining Room. She
is the daughter of Robin and Doug Dutton and a recent
graduate of KWU. When not playing a loveable she-devil of a
writer, Dalana spends her spare time writing fictional stories
that are absolutely not based on any person in her life, living
or dead. She also enjoys long walks off short piers, and
putting project deadlines off until the last minute.

where magic comes alive

CTA stands for Center for
Theatre Arts. This program has
grown exponentially over the past
several years.

We produce three shows a year, numerous camps and workshops, and provide year-round
classes in dance, vocal, and acting. CTA staff members are highly trained performers and are
dedicated to helping their students reach their full potential as well as providing them with rich
theatrical experiences on our stage. CTA enriches the lives of people in Salina and the
surrounding region by creating a broad range of quality theatrical programs for their
entertainment. Most importantly, CTA provides a positive, nurturing environment for youth to
develop their craft. Students learn to respect all aspects of theatre and receive a well-rounded
education in these areas.

We welcome all into this program with open arms. Learn how to become a part of the
CTA family by contacting the Education Director, Megan Coberly at 785-827-6126 or
at [email protected].

Photos by Karen Bonar, “Support for the arts and art education has never been more
Heartland Photography important in our lifetimes than it is right now. At CTA, we provide
a professional, safe, and inclusive environment for students of
all ages, and I’m grateful to be a part of the fun!”

Gin Huffman teaches CTA classes and is playing

be limited or not available.
2. Arrive 15-30 minutes ahead of curtain time to avoid the rush and for better
parking availability.
3. Use one of our conveniently located bathrooms in either the lobby or inside
the Kephart Theatre.
4. Purchase a snack or drink from our concessions area, located in the lobby.
The bar and concession stand are also open during intermission.
5. Read through and explore your Playbill to discover:

the actors, crew, and orchestra members involved in the production

•musical numbers and setting(s) of the production
••auditions for Salina Community Theatre and Center for Theatre Arts

upcoming productions
SCT Guild information

•what’s coming up next at SCT and CTA
••all our many invaluable supporters

6. As some of our patrons arrive late, please stay in your assigned seat at least
until intermission. If your current seat is unsatisfactory, please visit the box
office for help.

During the Performance
7. Video recording or taking pictures during any SCT or CTA performance is

strictly prohibited.
8. Please refrain from using your phone or any other electronic devices in any

way during the performance. This distracts other patrons, as well as the
performers on stage.
9. Stage lights are usually sufficient to refer to the Playbill. If you must use your
phone for illumination, do so during applause or at a scene break.
10. If you need to leave the theatre for any reason, please do so during applause
or at a scene break, unless it is an emergency. When returning to your seat,
please wait for applause or a scene break.
11.SCT welcomes children ages 5 and up (ages 3 and up for designated
performances and CTA productions). We understand children become restless
or upset at times. The SCT lobby is a quiet place to take your child when such
an instance arises.
If there’s anything we can do to make your experience more enjoyable, please
drop by the Box Office and let us know.

NEW THIS Year

VXN (formerly known as Vixen Workout) is a
dance fitness brand focused on improving the
physical & mental wellness of women. Our
classes recreate the live stage experience by
incorporating trending choreography, and
musical remixes. As a result, participants
are able to feel like performers. The class
experience promotes mind-body connection,
emotional release, and community in addition
to physical fitness.

Maggie earned her INSTRUCTOR
certification through the MAGGIE SPICER BROWN
online program where she learned the science,
teaching methods, class components, and
choreography necessary to start changing the
lives of the women in the community.

Saint Francis Ministries

Saint Francis was founded by Fr. Robert Mize as a home
for children who had been abandoned, written off, and
forgotten, in need of a safe, loving place to call home.

Today, we continue that prairie priest’s dream in
providing healing and hope to children and families

across seven states and Central America.

Congratulations to Salina Community
Theatre on 60 years of providing arts
experiences to the young and not-so-
young who might not otherwise have
access to these enriching experiences!

For every stage
in a woman’s life.

Salina Women’s Clinic provides
comprehensive and highly
specialized health care at every
age and every stage of a woman’s
life—in a comfortable, personalized,
family-oriented atmosphere.

To welcome your newborn into
the world, our prenatal and
delivery teams are ready with the
latest technology, including 4D
sonograms that give you a clear
picture of your baby. For their
prenatal visits and delivery, the
great majority of our patients see
their own doctor—not someone
they’ve just met.

And from general wellness
check-ups to minimally invasive
hysterectomy surgery, Salina
Women’s Clinic is committed
to doing everything possible to
provide the highest level of clinical
care and personal comfort.
