allows for easy adjustment if required. DOVO recommend not to set the tension too loosely as misalignment may cause damage to the

With regard to hairdresser’s scissors, what does “razor sharp” mean?

What are the advantages of serrated scissors?

Under the secondary name CATCH CUT or the designation “serrated”, DOVO offers many types of hairdresser’s scissors - as

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

What tips should be followed in looking after nippers, hair scissors and straight razors?

Steel goods should always be looked after extremely carefully. Even stainless steel articles should always be wiped dry
and rubbed with oil if they are not to be used for longer periods.

Does DOVO offer a sharpening and repair service?

Should the sharpness, cutting performance or appearance of these products really deteriorate somewhat in the course
of time, please visit Turnleys for details on sharpening services and repairs.

Are DOVO scissors free of nickel and thus suitable for persons suffering from allergies?

The most frequent cause of allergy in the use of scissors appears to be an intolerance of nickel. For professional use,
DOVO offers all scissors in stainless chrome steel which may only contain nickel to a maximum level of 0.1% so as to
allow a faultless tempering process (nickel is not hardenable). Thus allergenic reactions to nickel can be largely ruled
out in so far as other skin intolerances of further elements in the steel are not present.
