Kyle Farscht as Nathan Detroit
Kyle Farscht is so excited to play Nathan Detroit in Limelight Player’s
Guys and Dolls. He has graced the stage as Gordon in Rent, Gregory in
A Chorus Line, George in The Drowsy Chaperone, and Seymour in Little
Shop of Horrors. Kyle also lends his musical talent to his band
Powdered Elephants. When he's not performing, you can find him behind
the camera filming movies. Kyle has created many award winning short
films, and he will be attending NYU Tisch School of the Arts in the fall to
pursue filmmaking. You can learn more about him at

Halle Lipton as Miss Adelaide
Halle is so excited to be playing one of her dream roles! After appearing
in RENT, for which she received a Papermill Rising Star nomination, she
is so excited to be back on the Limelight stage! She recently appeared
as the starring role in the pilot production of the licensing version of one
of her all-time favorite musicals; as Pilar in Legally Blonde; and Mamma
Mia at Stagedoor Manor. A product of Stella Adler Acting Conservatory
and an active member of Papermill’s Broadway Show Choir, performing
and musical theater are Halle’s life! Thank you to Mrs. McKenna, Ms.
Cortez, Mr. De la Cruz, Ms. Siegel, Ms. Bardes, Adrienne, Emily, Mom
and Dad!
Matt Green as Sky Masterson
Matthew Green is a senior appearing in his fourth Limelight musical,
following RENT (Collins), A Chorus Line (Richie) and The Drowsy
Chaperone (Feldzeig). Additionally, he serves as president of Soulfege A
Cappella and co-president of Drama Club. Favorite credits include
Heathers (JD), Footloose (Ren), Legally Blonde (Warner), Zombie Prom
(Jonny), Xanadu (Sonny), and Joseph…Dreamcoat (Joseph). An nine-
year veteran of Papermill’s Children’s Theater on Tour, he just finished
his final show, My Son Pinocchio(Geppetto). He thanks his friends,
family and the cast and crew of Guys and Dolls for this incredible
experience in his final MHS show!

Lauren Updyke as Sarah Brown
Lauren Updyke is a sophomore at Millburn High School and she is
thrilled to be participating in her second Limelight Production! Previously
she was Ruth Spaulding in the MHS Fall Drama of Hide and Shriek.
Credits also include Ariel in the MMS Production of The Little Mermaid,
Smitty in How to Succeed In Business and many shows at Paper Mill
Playhouse as part of the All Star cast. Lauren thanks her teachers at
Performer’s Theater Workshop, especially Dean, Cory, Julie, Rosena. A
huge thanks also to her long time vocal coach Adrienne McKeown, who
has helped her so much through the years. Big thanks to Mom and Dad
for their ongoing support. Love to Jake and to her grandparents, family

Jacob Pollack as Arvide Abernathy
Jacob is very excited to be in his first Limelight Production! Jacob would
first like to thank the entire cast for all of their hard work and dedication.
Jacob would also like to thank Adrienne Mckeown for helping him
prepare for his singing and acting roles in the show. Besides acting,
Jacob is a competitive swimmer and runner, and he also has an extreme
passion for all things Disney. Finally, Jacob would like to thank his entire
family for their constant support.
Charlie Baker as Nicely-Nicely Johnson
Charlie Baker is thrilled to be performing in Guys and Dolls! He loved
being a part of his Limelight debut back in November as Paul Pembrook
in Hide and Shriek, and is eager to top it in his first Limelight musical. He
is the Vice President of the Class of 2020 and is excited for the start of
the lacrosse season upon the end of the production. He would like to
thank the cast, the directors, and the production team for all of their
support, guidance, hard work, and for making the musical an overall
amazing experience!

Zev Marinoff as Benny Southwest
Zev Marinoff is so grateful to be in his first Limelight Players production
as Benny Southstreet, which taps into his extracurricular interest of
unfairly criminalized behavior. Most recently, he played Marius in the
Kent Place production of Les Miserables. Zev would like to thank the
cast, crew and directors of this production for a fabulous experience, and
looks forward to many more years of being in the Limelight Players!
PJ Powar as Rusty Charlie/Havana Dancer
PJ, a Junior, is so excited to return to the Limelight stage this year! He
began his theatre career in 7th grade and has loved it ever since, his
favorite role being J. Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed in Business
Without Really Trying. When he’s not on stage, PJ can be found playing
soccer, with his friends, or singing with MHS’s Soulfege A Cappella
(check them out!), where he serves as the group’s Secretary. He can’t
wait to get back on stage for another year with the Limelight crew!
Michael Sorkin as Harry the Horse
A sophomore at Millburn High School, Michael Sorkin is thrilled to be
playing Harry the Horse in Guys and Dolls, his first high school play. In
the past, he participated in Millburn Middle School productions of The
Little Mermaid and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,
in which he played the roles of Grimsby and Gatch, respectively. Outside
the theatre, Michael enjoys playing trumpet in his school’s ensembles,
singing in his school’s chorus, playing his guitar, and spending time with
his friends. He thanks his family and all his music teachers, past and
present, for always encouraging him.

Ishaan Khalap as Big Jule
Ishaan Khalap is a freshman at Millburn High School. He can’t wait for
his first Limelight production. In the past, he has performed in The Little
Mermaid, Shrek, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and
Persephone. Ishaan has dedicated time to music lessons and spent a
summer at the Shakespeare Theater camp. He would like to thank his
parents for always being there and supporting him. He would also like to
say thank you and awesome job to the fantastic and dedicated cast and
crew for work working to create yet another amazing show!
Judah Engel as Lt. Brannigan/Havana Dancer
Judah Engel is a senior at Millburn High School. This is his seventh, and
last, production at MHS. In the past, he’s performed in the MHS musicals
Rent, A Chorus Line, and The Drowsy Chaperone. In addition, Judah
has been involved in the MHS dramatic productions such as: Almost,
Maine, A Few Good Men (nominated for best supporting actor in a
drama), and Hide and Shriek. He wants to thank everyone involved in
making this show, and wishes them a warm goodbye. Judah has
performed for nearly six years, and wishes to continue his passion in
college.
Halie Jasinover as General Matilda B. Cartwright
Halie Jasinover is in 10th grade at Millburn High School. She is a part of
Soulfege A Capella! Halie has performed in Heathers, Legally Blonde,
Bye Bye Birdie, The Little Mermaid, How to Succeed in Business and
Little Shop of Horrors. She takes vocal lessons and studied voice,
dance, improvisation with NYC’s Urban Stages. Halie is thrilled to be a
part of what will definitely be an incredible Limelight production and is
excited to be alongside of such an incredibly talented cast! She has had
such an amazing time with this production! Halie would like to thank her
family and friends for all their love and support.

Daphne Meng as Mimi/Havana Dancer
Daphne Meng is a senior and is proud to perform in her fifth and final
Limelight production. Daphne has a passion for musical theatre and has
participated in summer programs such as the Papermill August Intensive,
NJPAC’s Youth Artist Summer Intensive, and the Boston Conservatory
Vocal/Choral Intensive. Last summer, she had the incredible opportunity
to music direct A Year with Frog and Toad at Summit Playhouse.
Outside of theatre, she enjoys playing piano, singing in Soulfege, and
performing in All-State Choirs. This April, she will be performing with the
All-Eastern Treble Choir. She would like to thank her family for their
constant support and the cast, crew, and production team for such an
incredible experience.
Jack Ebner as Angie the Ox/Joey Biltmore
Jack Ebner is performing in his first production at MHS. Jack has
participated in shows such as The Little Mermaid, How to Succeed In
Business Without Really Trying and most recently starred in Shrek the
Musical. Outside of limelight, Jack enjoys running, playing guitar, and is
part of the a Capella group Soulfege. Jack would like to thank everyone
who helped and inspired him to continue with musical theater. Being part
of Guys and Dolls was the highlight of Jack’s freshman year, and he
looks forward to future Limelight shows.
Felicia Murphy as Agatha/Hot Box Girl
Felicia Murphy has performed in multiple musicals including How to
Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Little Mermaid, Shrek
The Musical as well as a few years in Elephante theater camp. This
production has been so much fun and Felicia would like to thank Mrs.
McKenna, Ms. Siegel, Ms. Bardes, Ms. De La Barre, Ms. Cortizo, Mr. De
la Cruz and the entire cast and crew of Guys and Dolls!

Cadence Akhavan as Martha/Hot Box Girl
Cadence Akhavan, a freshman new to the area, is very excited to be
participating in her first limelight show. She is playing the roles of Martha
the missionary and a hot box girl. In her previous years she has played
the roles of Velma in Hairspray, Sharpay in High School Musical Jr.,
Angelo in Comedy of Errors, etc. Her dance training consists of 10 years
of dance experience in tap, ballet, and jazz. Her acting training includes
3 years of acting classes. Lastly her vocal training contains of 3 years of
choral singing and 1 year of private vocal lessons.
Daniel Dantowitz as Calvin
Daniel is a Junior at MHS, and he’s thrilled to be a part of Limelight
Players for his first production! Outside of the musical, he sings in MHS’s
a cappella club Soulfege, a group that he also music directs and
arranges for. Daniel is the founder and current president of the school
Roundnet (Spikeball) club, and he plays for the Boy’s Volleyball team in
the spring. Aside from music, his primary passion is eating ice cream.
He’ll eat a whole pint in one sitting! Suitably, he works part time at
Häagen-Dazs in downtown Millburn, where there’s plenty of ice cream.
Owen as Universal Swing/Joaquin the
Mathay Missionary/Gambler/Havana Dancer
Owen Mathay is a sophomore, and this is his first time participating in a
musical at Millburn. He’s having a great time in Guys and Dolls this
winter. Outside of theater, Owen writes music and plays a variety of
instruments.

Hannah Rubinstein as Allison
Hannah Rubinstein is a Sophomore and is thrilled to be in her first
Limelight Musical (and third Limelight production)! She loves music, and
has enjoyed performing in Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, and
How to Succeed in Business, as well as playing the Baritone Saxophone
in Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. She would like to thank her voice
teacher, Adrienne McKeown and is grateful for Mrs. McKenna, Mrs. De
la Barre, Ms. Cortez, Mr. De la Cruz, and Ms. Siegel for all that they have
done. Hannah is thankful to her family for encouraging her to practice
and develop her musical talent.
Lauren Dordevic as Ferguson
Lauren is delighted to be performing in her second limelight production!
During high school, she appeared in A Few Good Men as a
Lawyer/Military Police and in Bye Bye Birdie as Ursula. In her middle
school years, she was apart of the featured ensemble of The Little
Mermaid and worked backstage in stage crew on Little Shop of Horrors
and How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. She has trained
at New Jersey School of Ballet in Jazz and worked with Adrienne
Mckeown for voice lessons. Lauren would like to thank her family and of
course Adrienne, Ms. Siegel, Ms. Bardes, Mr. De la Cruz, Ms. De la
Barre, and Ms. Cortez, and Ms. McKenna.
Jamie Serruto as Master of Ceremonies
Jamie Serruto is a junior at MHS. This is Jamie’s first production and
he’s excited to debut in one of his favorite shows! Serruto is the
President of the Class of 2020 in his third term where he serves his
constituents 24/7 - 365 to ensure that MHS and its students are always
at their best. As an Eagle Scout, Serruto has a strong passion for helping
other people and volunteers in many capacities to improve the conditions
of his community. Jamie is humbled to be a part of the cast and thanks
his family for their support.

Julia Gesner as Dance Captain/Hot Box Girl/Havana Dancer
This is Julia’s 5th Limelight production, previously appearing in Hide and
Shriek, RENT, A Few Good Men, and A Chorus Line. She was a
member of the Senior Company of the Paper Mill Playhouse Summer
Musical Theatre Conservatory (’17-'18). Julia has been a part of the
Paper Mill Playhouse for 7 years and she dances at the New Jersey
School of Ballet. She thanks her Limelight family for being so supportive,
and Mrs. McKenna, Mrs. Cortez, Mrs. De La Barre, Mr. De La Cruz, Ms.
Siegel, and Ms. Bardes for entrusting her with this role. Break legs to all!
Abby Kobberger as Hot Box Girl/Havana Dancer
Abby Kobberger is a freshman here at Millburn High and is so thrilled to
be performing in her first Limelight Production! Her past
performances include: Heathers (New Wave Girl), 13 The Musical
(Lucy), The Little Mermaid (Andrina, Princess), Shrek (Sugar Plum
Fairy), Legally Blonde, among others. She has trained with Paper Mill
Playhouse. She was so honored to be accepted this past summer and
once again this upcoming summer into an exclusive training intensive in
NY where she was chosen and coached by numerous current Broadway
stars. Enormous thanks to Adrienne! Huge thanks to her family and

Abigail Struwig as Hot Box Girl
On the weekends, Abigail enjoys hanging out with her friends and
playing piano. She lives with two cats and a dog, and she enjoys to play
with them regularly. Other shows Abi has been in are shows such as
Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, The Wizard of Oz, Honk, The Lion King,
and many more. Her favorite shows are The Office and Parks and Rec

Victoria Bambara as Hot Box Girl
Victoria is thrilled to be joining her very first production at MHS. She was
apart of Millburn Middle School’s production of How to Succeed in
Business [...] as the ensemble and has participated in several camp
productions. Some of her most memorable productions include Into the
Woods (Baker’s Wife) and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Mrs.
Bucket). Victoria is currently a junior at MHS and has been taking voice
lessons for four years now. She also enjoys singing with her fellow
Coriste sisters at the New Jersey Youth Chorus. This past summer, she
attended Stella Adler Studio of Acting Teen Summer Conservatory
program. She would like to thank the entire cast and crew for their
support and a special thanks to Mrs. McKenna, Ms. Cortez, Ms. Siegel,
Ms. Bardes, and Mr. DeLaCruz for this incredible opportunity.
Sofia Sanfilippo as Hot Box Girl
Sofia Sanfilippo, a freshman, is so excited to perform in her second MHS
Limelight production! After being in the fall drama Hide and Shriek, Sofia
is delighted to perform in the musical. Sofia has been in many
showcases with Performers Theatre Workshop in Maplewood, and was
featured in their Professional Track. Although Sofia has an ensemble
role as a hot box girl, she is thrilled to take on the challenge of a dance-
oriented role. When Sofia is not up on stage, she enjoys spending time
with her friends and playing guitar.
Jared as Gangster/Crap Shooter/Featured
Kirschenbaum Male Dancer
Jared Kirschenbaum is so excited to participate in his first Millburn High
School musical! Jared, an accomplished drummer, made his acting
debut as Freddy in the KOTA production of School of Rock and joined
the group again in Lyrics for Life and the off-Broadway play The Hundred
Dresses. Jared continued to pursue his love of musical theater in the
Millburn Middle School production of Shrek where he garnered one of
the lead roles, Lord Farquaad. Love and gratitude to Emily Bauer,

Arseniy as Gangster/Crap Shooter/Featured Male
Vasilyev Dancer
Arseniy is a senior at MHS and this is his first musical production in the
school. He has previously done a musical production of Heathers at
Stony Hill Players in Summit, and is currently a member of the Paper Mill
Broadway Show Choir.
Ben Schonhorn Student Musician
Ben Schonhorn is an MHS Senior and is playing in the pit orchestra for the second time for a
Limelight Production. He has played in the pit orchestra for the shows A Chorus Line, Little Women,
You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, and Little Shop of Horrors. Ben can play flute, oboe, clarinet and
saxophone. He would like to thank his parents for all the unconditional love and support they give
him and all of his music teachers for helping him become the musician that he is today.
Steffen Kulp Student Musician
Steffen Kulp is an MHS Senior and is playing in the pit for the first time. He plays the French horn and
viola. Besides school ensembles, Steffen also is part of the New Jersey Youth Symphony, having the
opportunity to perform in Vienna and Budapest. He also is the 1st Chair French horn in the New
Jersey All-State Band and Orchestra. He would like to thank his parents for all of the support they
have given him over the years, as well as his teachers in and out of school who have helped him

Caitlin Samson Student Musician
Caitlin Samson’s musical career began at the age of 4 with piano studies. Since then, she has
expanded her dedication to music across a multitude of instruments, including cello. She began
private cello studies under the tutelage of Sheryl Keane at age 9 and has performed as a cellist at
the annual Madison Holiday Arts Festival, as well as student concerts and charity fundraisers
(including her debut piano/cello recital which raised $3800 for the Children’s Eye Foundation). She is
currently a member of the MHS Orchestra, Band, Chorus, Chamber Strings, Chorale, Accelerated
Strings, and Accelerated Piano program.
She wishes the best of luck to her fellow cast and crew!
Rachel Cohen McKenna Director
Rachel Cohen McKenna is proud to be a part of Limelight again. After obtaining a BFA in Musical
Theatre from Syracuse University, Mrs. McKenna spent 20 years in various parts of the
entertainment business, and remains one of the most sought after voice teachers and audition
coaches in the industry. Students of Mrs. McKenna's voice studio have been seen in RENT, The
Book Of Mormon, Dear Evan Hansen, Beautiful, Waitress, Wicked, Jersey Boys, On Your Feet,
Motown, the Lion King, the Phantom of the Opera, A Chorus Line, Beauty And the Beast and
more. Directing credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Guys & Dolls,
and You're A Good Man Charlie Brown. Music directing credits include A Chorus Line, Assassins, A

Natalie Cortez Choreographer
Natalie Cortez is thrilled to be choreographing for the Limelight Players! She played Diana Morales in
the 2006 Revival of A Chorus Line for which she recorded the CD at Skywalker Ranch alongside
Marvin Hamlisch. She then went on to play Anita n the 2009 Broadway Revival of West Side
Story working with Arthur Laurents. She originated the role of Juana in Michael John LaChuisa’s
adaptation of Edna Ferber’s Giant at the Public Theatre where she received critical acclaim in the
New York Times and worked alongside Michael Grief (OCR). Also at the Public, she originated the
role of Aurora Aquino in David Byrne’s Pop Musical Here Lies Love directed by Alex Timbers (OCR).
She was part of the World Premiere Cast of Baz Luhrman’s Moulin Rouge this summer. She also
performed with the Boston Pops for The Independence Day televised Concert performing “America”
with her hero, Rita Moreno. She has a BFA from Tisch School of the Arts and trained with Alvin Ailey.

WHO'S WHO
Margot de la Barre Associate Choreographer
Margot has appeared on Broadway in South Pacific, Evita, Anything Goes, Irving Berlin's White
Christmas, and Promises, Promises. She has danced on three Tony Awards telecasts, Good
Morning America, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and The Late Show with David
Letterman. She was also part of NBC's Sound of Music Live, starring Carrie Underwood, and toured
the country in The Boy Friend directed by Dame Julie Andrews. Additionally, Margot has performed
at many regional theaters around the country, including Paper Mill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera
House, Theatre Under the Stars, North Shore Music Theatre, TOTS, Westchester Broadway Theatre,
and Arizona Theatre Company. Margot is the proud mother of two little ones. She is so excited to
be part of this wonderful production!
Tom Rowe Set and Lighting Design
Mr. Rowe trained in New York City with American Ballet Theater, The Joffrey Ballet, Dan Wagoner
and Dancers; the Broadway productions of The Goodbye People, Runaways, Happy End, Alice, and
touring companies of Billy Bishop Goes to War, and For Colored Girls…. He was resident lighting
designer for The Cleveland Ballet, H T Chen Dance Company and The Roxey Ballet Company. Mr.
Rowe taught and designed scenery and lighting at Raritan Valley Community College. He was
resident lighting designer and production manager for Union County Performing Arts Center. Mr.
Rowe designed lights for the last 8 shows at Millburn High School and scenery for last 4; A Few
Good Men, A Chorus Line, Rent and Hide and Shriek .

Andy Xia Student Stage Crew Leader
Andy is a Millburn High School senior who has been in Stage Crew for
over two years, having worked on Almost Maine, A Chorus Line, A Few
Good Men, Rent, and Hide and Shriek, from building and painting sets to
working the lights. This year, he is excited to use his experience to help
facilitate Guys and Dolls. He would like to thank Mr. Spatz, Mr. Rowe,
and the Stage Crew members for all of their help and hard work, the
producers and MHS cast for their wonderful show, and the audience for
supporting the Limelight community.
Jessica Yeager Student Stage Crew Leader
Jess Yeager is so excited to be part of such a great show. She has been
involved in many Limelight productions including A Chorus Line, A Few
Good Men, Rent, and Hide and Shriek. When Jess isn’t behind the
scenes, she likes to be on stage with her band Powdered Elephants
where she plays guitar. Jessica is very excited to be working this show
with her amazing co-stage leader Andy Xia and an awesome cast and
crew. She would like to thank Mr. Spatz and Mr. Rowe for all their help.
