U12 Build Roll-Up Signs

How To Build Part Numbers for Roll Up Signs

Step 1 - Add C to this set for 5/8” vertical brace: C-Signs are used when the vertical cross-brace of sign locks into
the “half-mast” of a C-Stand. The thicker and stronger fixed-vertical-brace on a C-Sign allows the sign to
properly deflect when hit by the force of the wind. All C-Signs are completely factory assembled and
ready to-use.


Step 2 - Sign Size: All our signs are 48” however, 36” signs are available through special order and
are not returnable.


Step 3 - Select Sign Material:
MESH - Daylight Use: Econo-Mesh Roll-up(non-reflective) Day Bright flourescent orange, woven knit,

required for public highway transportation compliance. Heavy-duty
drum style body incorporates a 2” threaded drum bung, a hex
threaded pressure relief vent, or a hex threaded hinged pressure
relief cap (similar to the spring-closing spout covered featured in
the Safety Store and Safey Pour models). Each can includes both
caps. Closure is accomplished using either, and both will contain a
minimum 3 psi and a maximum of 5 psi vapor pressure. Includes

U28 Manhole Guard with Material Lift & Accessories

A. A. Manhole Guard and Material Lift - Together, these products
combine to create a very efficient work area safety device. The
manhole guard acts as a physical barrier around a manhole and
the material lift can lower and raise up to 300 pounds of equipment
in and out of a manhole. The entire system can be set up by one
man and is very portable. The guard is available in both 33” and
42” sizes. The winch combines independent ratchet systems for
additional load security and double disk brakes for positive load
control. This rugged material lift is an excellent device for raising
and lowering equipment and material into manholes. It clamps
securely to the universal manhole guard, making it a safety fence
as well as a valuable tool and rescue device. The entire unit is
lightweight and portable, sets up quickly and has a 300 pound
capacity with a safety factor of three to one. The side pieced are
constructed of high tensile, heavy-guage aluminium with a durable
yellow finish that stands up to rough weather and wear. Lift rope
1.2” x 35’ DURA-PLEX Braided Rope.

Winch Features: Gear covers; bronze bushings; 2 independent
ratchet systems for additional load security; double-disk automatic
brake for positive load control; large handle roller grips better in
your hand, winch bar of heavy wall, high tensile steel tubing with a
3” drum for fast recovery.

Instructions for Mounting Material Lift: Place 2 mounting
stanchions on sides of manhole guard. Take 4 U-Bolds (furnished
with unit) and attach to sides of manhole guard. Placing stanchion
with angle iron to the right side, place winch into hole on left
side and drop winch into place, attaching the 2 lock pins in holes
provided.
The lift may be ordered separately, or as a complete unit with
universal manhole guard.
