'STREAK LEGACY COMPRESSION'
refer to the a few sketch of the
Tunisia's Culture that can be see

through my snippet. The sketch itself
will illustrate the Kairouan's place that

full and rich with their cultural and
heritage where it is still remains at

every corner of their space.

Bab Tunis in Kairouan

The name of this gates
is Bab el-Tunis. This is
the borthel of Kairouan
which is located at the
entrence of the old city
founded by the muslim
leader Oqba Ibn Nafaa.

Three Doors Mosque

The use of soft, sculpted
stone over the entire
surface creates a truly
magnificent effect. The
façade is based on a

symmetrical panel of three
horseshoe arches of

dressed stone supported by
columns and capitals

reclaimed from antiquity.

Kairouan's Culture

There are a few seller that
sell variety of item at the
sidewalk of their building
and they will sit at their
staf while talking to others
seller. They are also mostly
wearing their daily clothes

that illustrated their
culture there.

The Cobbler

There are many mini
shop along the street
of the building and on
of them is the cobbler
shop where people
sent their sandal and

shoes there to be
repaired.

Multifunction Path

Most of the building
area will be provided

with concrete
hardscape pavement so

that peaople can be
easily by walking and

cycling there.

The White and Blue

The buildings are white, the
doors and decorative window

lattices are blue. Rodolph
d’Erlanger,the French artist
and musicologist,introduced
the blue and white theme that

the colors set against the
backdrop of the distant white

clouds and blue sea give a
wonderful effect.

There will be a
community that do
selling and buying
activity along the
building.They are also
some some shade area
that can be occupied by
the people to rest there.

that the building
filled by softscape
element to balance

that popular by its
art of carpet that can
be find anywhere
there that indirectly
make Kairouan one
of the famous place

in the world.
