FROM STUDENT’S PEN….
                       Education at Covid Times
     I miss the traditional classroom,
Learning from my teachers in front,
     And my friends gossiping around,
The sound of speakers that instruct.
                                                                    Now there is no school,
                                                               No friends, no fun around,
                                                              Though it sounds very cool,
                                                     The looming pandemic surrounds.
Today is the age of technology,
The transmission of knowledge become easy,
It needs to reform the nature of pedagogy,
     And make the students tech-savvy.
                                                              Some schools are closed,
                                                             Some have turned virtually,
It may be more interesting, more engaging,
But now everything seems less punctual.
The teachers are coaching and mentoring,
     Through the zoom calls,
But the screen led to a digital divide,
The internet service not everybody can install.
We will be back in school,
When proper provision will be in place,
To keep the covid 19 infection to its minimum,
We will ensure practicing social distance.
                                                                             --Bhavana Patil
                                                                                     F.Y.B.Ed.
                                                                            [5]
