MHC is a place that empowers women through the handicraft
industry. The handicraft centre works hard to educate women on
quality standards so they can earn an income through handicrafts.
MHC supports over 300 producers across three islands – Malekula,
Ambrym and Paama.

Retail Terms & Conditions

We look forward to working with new retailers. In order to clearly communicate the important things about our working
relationship and deliver the most professional approach to our customers in Vanuatu please read the below retail conditions
and sign below.

Minimum order quantity or value – for you to be allowed to purchase at wholesale prices, you need to order 6 or more of
each item. With permission from the manager, you may be able to order wholesale prices with less than 6 of each item but
only if your total order is valued at more than 10,000vt

Pricing – Businesses in Vanuatu are expected to sell the items at the RRP (recommended retail price), this price is the
including vat price that customers pay for one piece/item. If you change this price we reserve the right not to send orders to
you in the future.

Transport & Packaging – we ask that you pay the transport costs from our wholesale centre. We will provide an estimate of
this cost to you and it will be added to your invoice. If your order requires a ‘chinese bag’ for transport the cost of this will be
charged to you and you may keep the bag.

Overseas buyers - If you are an overseas buyer, you will need to pay for domestic and international freight and packaging
and fumigation if this is required. Overseas orders will incur an additional 4,500vt order fee (this covers international bank
transactions which are not free in Vanuatu).

Payment – you will be sent an invoice after you place your order. Please pay for this and then we will send goods to you.

Place of sales – you may only sell our products at the place of sales you register with us. If you wish to change this please
contact us.
