If you think of tourist attractions in Khon Kaen, you will only think of
places to visit in the city or Ubonrat district. Few people know Khon Kaen in
the corner of nature's purity. There are beautiful views, surrounded by
limestone mountains, with mist to watch. It is a hidden beauty in Khon Kaen
at “Phu Pha Man” a district in the embrace of mountains and mists that is
still calm and simple. There are natural attractions to visit at many points.
If visiting this district during the rainy season, you will find greenery of rice
fields, forests and mists, looking which way is refreshing and comfortable.

Phu Pha Man National Park is located in Na Nong Thum Subdistrict,
Chum Phae District, covers an area of a​ pproximately 350 square kilometers.
Covering the area in Phu Pha Man district and Chum Phae district, Khon Kaen
Province and Phu Kradueng district, Loei Province. Ranked as the country's
72 national park, it is also a watershed area and has many natural features,
especially caves and waterfalls.

The external appearance of this park is a limestone mountain range
with straight cliffs cut straight down like a curtain. The name of the park is
named after a mountain range in the south of the park and has steep cliffs
similar to a rectangle that looks like a large curtain.

Phu Pha Man National Park has most topography. It is a limestone
mountain range with steep and complex interspersed lengthways

Phu Pha Man National Park with Sustainable Tourism

Phu Pha Man National Park used to be a rich area with many kinds of plants
and wildlife. But as a result of the forest concession, the forest area and the
number of wildlife The rapid decline has an area of a​ pproximately 350 square
kilometers or 218,750 rai. The topography is mainly limestone mountains, with
steep complexes. It is a long line alternating with the hillside plains, 200-800
meters above sea level. There are many important creeks flowing into the Nam
Phong River that flows from Phu Kradueng National Park and the Choen River in

Khon Kaen Province. This is because Phu Pha Man National Park is a beautiful
natural attraction and is characterized by limestone mountains with cliffs cut

- Pha Phuang Cave, formerly known as Roi Phuang
Cave. Inside there are beautiful stalagmites and
stalactites, the ceiling of the cave can penetrate

- Phaya Nakarat Cave is one of the most beautiful
caves in Phu Pha Man National Park. Inside the
pitch dark cave is divided into chambers, each
room contains stalactites and stalagmites that
sparkle and shine beautifully. You can drive a car
to reach the foot of the hill that is the cave.

- Lai Thang Cave, on the wall inside the cave will
find ancient paintings about 2 square meters wide.

- Phu Ta Lor Cave, inside the cave is a large tunnel

- Tat Hong Waterfall, is a large waterfall formed
by the Phong River originating on Phu Kradueng,

Huai Hin Lat Waterfall.

- Plaan-Thong Waterfall, a small waterfall that

- Tat Yai Waterfall, is a large waterfall consisting of
a small waterfall that flows down several steps before
flowing into the Choen River, with a height of 80

1. Visiting Plan Thong Waterfall

have an admission fee of 50 baht. To see this cave, you must take a car provided by Phu Pha

scattered around the cave hall, which is about 20 meters wide, 40 meters long, and the
