Campus II invites you to ‘Utsav’, an

Intercampus Literary Festival to celebrate the
festive fervour and spirit of independent India.
Being Independent offers us the freedom and flexibility to live our
lives the way we choose. Freedom is the breath of life and so come let
us get together virtually to rejoice in happiness and indulge in
celebration on this 74th Independence Day of free India. We come to
you with inter campus competitions followed by a cultural presentation
on 15th August 2020 to celebrate the freedom of our motherland,
India.

General Rules:

¨ The event is open to all the campuses of City Montessori School.
¨ Entries for all the offline events should reach the organisers by 10th

August 2020 on the respective email id’s provided on the page of
the event.

¨ All the entries should be sent through the school’s official mail
and should carry the name of the participant, class and
campus.
¨ There is no registration fee.

â It is an offline event
â A maximum of one entry is allowed per school.
â Participants must be dressed up according to the theme given.
â Participants are expected to say a few lines related to their character.

â Interference of parents while recording the video is not permitted.
â While recording the video choose a proper background and ensure that audio is loud

and clear.

â Art work should be on A3 size paper. The child is expected to draw or take a print of

the picture of the National Bird – Peacock and decorate it.
â The art work can be done using any medium eg: water colours, pencil shavings, use of

recycled material, pulses, vegetable peels, hand printing etc.
â The complete art work must be on a flat piece of paper. Picture clarity must be taken

care of.
â The entries have to be submitted online through mail using the email id given below.

â The participants have to prepare a video on the biography of any freedom fighter who

inspires them.
â The length of the video should not exceed 90 seconds.

â The voice over in the video should be by the participant himself.

â Declamation requires students to select a speech that has been delivered by a famous

personality/leader in the past and present it live .

â Paper reading would be highly discouraged.
â The speech should not exceed the time limit of 5 minutes.
â Speakers who use obscene or vulgar language will be disqualified.
