I look at myself in the mirror. I myself look at the mirror.

Sonu hurt herself. Sonu herself hurt her friend.

David spoke to himself. David spoke to Bimala herself.

Alia embarrassed herself. Alia herself embarrassed her dad.

ŽĚŽ¡’ŸŽȱ™›˜—˜ž—œ are the objects of the verb in a sentence. The subject
and object of the sentence are the same person or animal.

Sonu hurt herself. (None was hurt but Sonu.)

(The same person was hurt.)

Emphatic pronouns add emphasis to a noun.
