do this report from the beginning until the end of this assignment.

We want to thank all group members: Putri Nur Zarith Sufea, Nur Syafiqah, Fatin
Munirah, Emylia Faraniza, and Siti Nadiah Wadihah, for giving the best cooperation
on doing this assignment. All group members do their work very well and efficiently.
We through several problems from the start but get better until the end of the project.
We try to find a time that suitable for all group members to discuss together. It will hard
if our group members did not cooperate.

This group consists of five people: Putri Nur Zarith Sufea, Nur Syafiqah, Fatin Munirah,
Emylia Faraniza, and Siti Nadiah Wadihah. We are delighted to sit in this group
because we give the best cooperation and do our work efficiently. We do a gadgets
distraction for this Problem-Based Learning assignment. We divide the job equally per
person. We have tried to give our best to do this Problem-Based Learning, and we

Problem scenario INTRODUCTION

STUDENT DISTRACTIONS

The phone rings, your stomach growls, your neighbor's music is blaring, and you stare
out the window, wondering how you can concentrate amidst these distractions.
Internal distraction occurs when your brain wanders or is bombarded with intrusive
thoughts and when your body is hungry, tired, or uncomfortable. External or
environmental distractions come in noise, clutter, incoming texts, and friends stopping
by. Your study time will be more efficient when you learn how to manage and control
these distractions.

For our focus, distraction is gadgets. We do the questionnaire to students from few
institutions for us to investigate that devices distract them.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
The phone rings, your stomach growls, your neighbor's music is blaring, and you stare
out the window, wondering how you can concentrate amidst these distractions.
Internal distraction occurs when your brain wanders or is bombarded with intrusive
thoughts, as well as when your body is hungry, tired, or uncomfortable. External or
environmental distractions come in noise, clutter, incoming texts, and friends stopping
by. Your study time will be more efficient when you learn how to manage and control
these distractions.
The statement above describes how students are facing distractions during online
learning in this pandemic era. We believe that gadget is the main distraction during
Open and Distance Learning (ODL). A gadget is a small machine or device which does
something useful. We have surveyed students facing ODL to investigate how gadgets
distract them from focus during an online class.

CONCLUSION

This Problem-Based Learning report has been successfully prepared by Putri Nur
Zarith Sufea, Nur Syafiqah, Fatin Munirah, Emylia Faraniza, and Siti Nadiah Wadihah
as group members from DBF3D.

During completing this report, we cooperated by dividing each of the members
to do the tasks. For week 1, we got the PBL task and discussing it in the group. We
also prepared the questionnaire to be distributed to the respondents to answer the
questionnaire, and before doing so, we checked the survey form with our lecturer. For
week 3, we got the data from respondents and started to analyse by making graphs:
pie chart and bar chart. We do the calculation to find mean, median, and mode. For
week 4, we do the conclusion from the analysis with the data that we got. We also
refer to Madam Aisyah Suzana to check and finalize our PBL report.

We got many problems when finishing this PBL. We also must find the time to
make a video call together. Now that we are apart, we found it hard to gather everyone
at one time as each of us has our own time and work at home. This assignment taught
us the importance of managing time. We set the time so everyone will stick to it and
free their schedule for that time to avoid any distractions, unlike when we are at the
college. Above all, without the hard work and determination from every group member,
this assignment could not have to be done.

To conclude, understanding and cooperating well is fundamental to gain
success in any kind we are doing. As the saying goes, "The strength of the team is
each member. The strength of each member is the team".

INDIVIDUAL REFLECTION

The problem that we have during this assignment was to find the time to video call

together; it difficult because now we are apart, and everyone has their lives in their ways.

But my groupmates are very cooperative in making this assignment QMT1013

successful. Because of their cooperative, finally, we can complete this assignment

successfully. It will be hard if we cannot do the discussion together. This assignment

teaches me the importance of work together and how to manage our time. I also learn

how to lead groups. In conclusion, we must work together and help each other to make

our assignment run smoothly.

Name: Nur Syafiqah binti Zamhuri No ID: BMF20-07-060
Class: DBF3D Group: 4

When it comes to assignments, the main problem was time management. It was tough for
us to gather all five members. At first, we have an issue with cooperation. The case was
nobody's fault because it was tough for us to discuss and work together. Thank god, the
problem gets solved quickly. We find an alternative way to solve the problem. It is by
separate the work equally and everything went well since that. Even with the problem that
we faced, I would like to say that I'm enjoying the struggle. "No Pain No Gain" was the
perfect idiom to fit in the situation. When we have done this assignment, I felt significant
relief. It's not because I felt a burden, but because all the hard work has paid off. Finally, I
would like to thank all my group mates and not forget Puan Aisyah Suzana, who helped
us a lot while doing the assignment. The last things we can do is pray for good results :))

From this assignment, I learned that time management is crucial—neither our time with

other works nor for this assignment itself. Besides, communication has an impact on our

work too. If we do not help and discuss with each other, this assignment will never meet its

end. We tried to solve every problem or confusion amongst us, and Madam Aisyah allows

us to ease the journey in completing our assignment; hence it also prevents

misunderstanding between us. A fun part of this assignment is setting up the questionnaire,

and the warmth support by getting nearly 150 respondents that we did not expect to be that

much was the best part for me. I hope our blood, sweat, and tears we gave for this

assignment will get a beautiful return.

While doing this assignment, I feel very excited because this is the first time, I make a
survey, set up a questionnaire, do Google form, and discuss with my group members
online. At the same time, I was also facing problem in time management because we are
at home right now and is very difficult for me to divide my time doing my task because we
have class every day also another study of a different subject, but to solve this problem I
decide to allocate specific time at the night for me to settle my task that I need to do. I feel
very grateful because my group members were very understanding and supportive. After
all, they can understand that. Doing this assignment, I learn that we need to manage our
time wisely because it will affect our last result later. That is why we need to work our time
to do our tasks correctly and submit the assignment on time.

Based on this assignment, I have learned so much new experience with my teammates.
We can build teamwork between us to complete this task even though it is tough to discuss
each other online. Some misunderstanding has been caused by confusion. That is normal
and we can manage it. I also learned how to create the graph and improving skill in the
calculation. My teammates are doing an excellent job to finish these tasks. Thanks to
Madam Aisyah, too, our QMT lecturer who teaches us helps and clearly explains this
assignment. Lastly, after all the struggles to complete this assignment. I hope to get a
satisfactory outcome. Thank you.
