It’s the time of year where most of us are celebrating with family and friends and planning who we are spending time with over the Christmas period. But it’s also a time of year that many people find difficult, it’s might be someone’s first Christmas without a loved one, or they maybe struggling financially or with their mental health, and so not feeling up to socialising. Data from this research shows that over half (56%) of British people feel put off seeing their GP because of NHS waiting lists.
